If you like to have a variety of specialty dishes, this is the place! They have wonderful tapas, from land to sea. We shared the creamy chestnut soup, the fantastic arugula salad (has almonds, Serrano ham, figs with a Valencia orange vinaigrette), fresh tuna tartare, the best octopus we ever had!, and the juicy short rib. Our waiters, Anthony &... More

Planned a spur of the moment date night in Philly on a Friday. Was looking for something different than steak/Italian/seafood. So glad I stumbled on Tinto via TripAdvisor. Menu is based on the tapas concept. My date and I shared seven different plates while also enjoying a few different signature cocktails. Every plate was an argument of which was better.... More

Great service from Anthony , best Sangria I 've had ( had 3) and great food , including the cheese platter, the steak, the rice dish , the fish soup and the octopus. The arugula salad with the creamy dressing was my favorite. Everything was excellent, paced well and we had a great view of the kitchen.

Though I went with two friends, this place would be great for a date. Low, warm lighting, lots of wine options, and very friendly staff. Our waitress helped us pick an appropriate number of dishes and made suggestions. Everything was wonderful, well timed and relaxing. Of particular note, the Kobe canape and the brussels sprouts were amazing. Dessert was excellent,... More

Enjoyed a lovely GNO with my daughter. Each of the dishes we sampled were executed perfectly, especially the octopus and lamb chops and bomba Rice. We also enjoyed the tuna tartare and wild mushrooms. We make this our go to place in Philadelphia!!

We had the top chef tasting with wine pairing. Without ruining anyone's experience with what we had I will just tell you to go and enjoy it. The top item was a lamb kabob wrapped in Serrano ham dipped into an onion ring dipping sauce. And the best one bite was the cherry that came with the duck. Incredible night.... More

An excellent tapas restaurant! Two wonderful small plates that we'd definitely return to try again: The scallops with vanilla parsnip purée were so fantastic that we ordered another serving. The Kobe beef was also delicious.

Thoroughly enjoyed our chef menu dinner. Service was friendly, genuine and very quick. We opted to order the middle-of-the-road chef menu (there are 3 options) without wine accompaniment (we ordered a bottle ourselves). We simply sat back, relaxed and the amazing food kept coming. There were about 9 small plates served and we absolutely loved it.

A small place with an active bar scene upstairs and a lovely dining area downstairs. (This place is NOT for those who have trouble with stairs.) Everything we ordered, meats, seafood, cheese, vegetables, desert, was very good. The sangria blanco was among the best sangrias I've had. The staff was very knowledgeable both about the foods, including the different cheeses,... More

Our 2nd visit to Tinto and it may qualify as a reason to keep coming to the city. We each went for the chef's tasting menu and wine pairing. The wines started light and became progressively more robust and complex as the meal continued. Each wine was a compliment for the 2-3 plates that came with each course. The wines... More
