High Point has brought our community together. Everyone goes there and most are greeted by name. The coffee is terrific but the pastries are sublime! Staff is always welcoming and helpful. The owner, Meg, is the matriarch of Mt. Airy and has created a truly special place.

Plenty of choice of pastries and crepes, all looking delicious!!! The staff is really friendly and the service is excellent. This is a great example of soulful local coffee shop that has real personality rather than the faceless chains all over the world.

Fresh pastries, quiche, crepes. They roast their own coffee, and it's delicious! Always crowded at the carpenter location, but people are willing to share tables. Another nearby location at aliens lane train station.

Stayed in the area a few days and went to this shop several times. Made a great cup of coffee and Chai Tea plus a great assortment of pastries. I didn't try them, but people also raved about the crepes. Any time I'm in the area, will go back.

The savory crepes (try the turkey, spinach and cheese with an egg and side of greens) are a perfect lunch. And the coffee? Probably the best cup of coffee (Americano style) I've had in Philly.

My hairdresser told me about the High Point Cafe that is located in the Allen's Lane train station. She spoke so highly of the place that I had to go and find out for myself. Then I had to go back and I wanted my friends to go with me. So, I've been there quite a few times. Their savory... More
