Excellent food with a quaint menu. The staff provides great personal service. It's a small restaurant inside but still cozy. I think you will find this to be a wonderful hidden gem in Gettysburg. Enjoy.

The restaurant was recommended by the staff at the Federal Pointe Inn and it did not disappoint! It was within walking distance from the hotel. The service was great. You could bring your own wine and the staff opened it without a corkage fee. My...More

This was a very disappointing experience, given the good reviews and ranking. But frankly, both of our meals were terrible. I ordered the asparagus arugula salad with salmon. It was no more than a very large bowl of greens. It had 2, yes 2, cherry...More

Heard this place is amazing and modern so wanted to check it out. Although its a small place and packed the servers were very friendly and kept a smile on her face. Would highly recommend if you are in the Gettysburg area! Cheers!

Although a very small dinning area the minimal wait time dims in comparison to the delicious sandwiches, pizza’s and excellent service. Nothing was disappointing and I highly recommend this restaurant when visiting or living nearby.

The burger was *amazing*... and gluten free tasty BUN too! Toasted! I was literally wiggling in my seat! The truffle fries to die for, the pork in the Cuban succulent, fruit fresh, and OMG the flourless chocolate cake!!!!!!!

The decor is fairly modest but gives no clue to what you're about to get. We live in Gettysburg and keep returning. No matter what we try, it's excellent. Last visit I had the cuban, with pork, ham, mustard. Yum! I always get the couscous...More

What a gem in a town of mediocre restaurants. As everyone has stated it's very small maybe 8 tables but we were lucky to arrive right before the crowd. In addition to the regular menu there were 3 specials. The food was very good and...More

We had a very enjoyable dinner at Food 101. This is a byob, but the server will uncork and pour for you. Hubby had the lamb chops and I the bistro steak. Both were fantastic and cooked perfectly to order. Restaurant is nicely casual with...More

Description
Step through the door of one of Gettysburg's culinary treasures and be drawn in by the amazing aroma wafting from the open kitchen. A cozy setting within an updated former diner, guests have their pick of small tables or communal dining. The new American cuisine is full of selection and flavor with a changing menu to keep you coming back for something new. Open daily for lunch and dinner, select from fresh salads, sandwiches or dive into an artisan wild mushroom pizza. There's nothing common about the mouth-watering vegetable powerhouse sandwich on wheat berry bread, the muffaletta or any of the chef's seasonal selections. Be sure to include a side of house cut truffle parmesan fries. Save room for a delicious dessert. Made fresh, the selection of cakes and pies are complemented by a frothy cappuccino or caramel macchiato. Lunch or dinner, be sure to make Food 101 part of your next Gettysburg getaway.
