We stayed at a local motel which was OK but were recommended this place for breakfast. We popped up the road for breakfast to set us up for a day on the road and were not to be disappointed. I decided to try the mixed meat breakfast burrito and my partner ordered a there stack of pancakes but was told... More

After reading about this place online, we decided to try it on our recent car trip to Arizona. Very friendly staff, all have been working there a long time and seem to know everyone who comes by. All ingredients were fresh and the owner was there and made sure everybody was taken care of, including us. Our GPS had us... More

Huevos rancheros with green chile are very good! Biscuits and gravy with the option of no sausage in the gravy for the vegetarians like myself 😁Friendly staff, quick service, fair prices!

Traveling through on way to AZ at lunchtime....checked TRIP ADVISOR for suggestions and chose this cafe. So glad we did ! :-) the ham and bean soup was tasty.....The best was the coconut cream pie..flaky crust ....just seem to beg for more !! Will remember this place for next trip.

I was in town for work and was pleasantly surprised by this busy diner. They do breakfast all day, which is always a plus, and have a variety of tasty homemade pies. My co-worker had the coconut cream and I had the lemon meringue. They were both great!

Heading out to Chaco Canyon for a day of hiking we needed easy to carry, nutritious food - in addition to our plethora of bars. First St made up giant, tasty sandwiches, 1 veg & 1 meat, that really made a great lunch. We've also eaten breakfast there in the past which was what brought us back for our travelers'... More

Local favorite for breakfast or lunch. Great soups and sandwiches, be sure to try the homemade potato or pasta salad sides. My favorite meal there is breakfast, serving sizes are huge, so plan to share with some one or take home for another meal.

We meet family here, we needed a restaurant that serves soup, this fit the bill. They had 3 choices of soup, mom chose beef stew, she seemed to enjoy it. I had breakfast, eggs/hashbrowns/toast. The best part was the chocolate creme pie for dessert.

My Mother had the supposedly "homemade soup". She said it was terrible - I know it looked like my dog's vomit. My husband had a hamburger and rated it very average. I couldn't find anything I liked on the menu, so I ordered a BLT. The bacon was uncooked on the ends and very fatty - couldn't finish it. Besides... More

Thanks to other TripAdvisor reviewers my wife and I hit First Street Cafe for breakfast. I like breakfast burritos and this was one of the very best I've ever had. My wife got one (yes 1) pancake and it covered her entire plate. Which of course meant I got about a third of a pancake too! And it was excellent... More
