We visited the Sushi Bar Hana in Danville before and the seafood is very fresh. Great service etc! The only thing is that it's way overpriced for Sashimi and their rolls are very small (4 pieces) for about $13. Even in Monterey I can get the best Sushi rolls for $12 (about 11 pieces) and they're a huge portion that... More

This is a very authentic small sushi bar where they greet you in Japanese and serve wonderful sushi. I had 2 rolls, they were very tasty, I would have given a 5 ranking, but my rolls kind of came apart. I have been here several times, fish is fresh, owners are friendly, nice and clean. I would recommend this restaurant... More

It was a rainy and stormy night in Danville with no place to park anywhere, no kidding. Doesn't anyone in posh Danville eat at home on Saturday nights anymore? Jeez. We actually wanted to go somewhere else but the rain was heavy and we ended up here at Sushi Bar Hana, and it was a great choice. We were greeted... More

We have patronized Sushi Bar Hana since they were located in the old Danville Hotel complex across the street. In their new location of several years, they have maintained their outstanding quality, in food, service and ambience. We are greeted like old friends on sight and never fail to have a relaxing experience. Kind of stuck on ordering the same... More

My wife and I have been eating at Sushi Bar Hana for about a year and a half now and we have noticed the service definitely decline in the past 3 visits. Back when we started going there, the place would be packed on Friday/Saturday nights with small waits to get seated, but once seated, even with it busy, things... More

Authentic and fresh. Not many places you can go and get the full prawn. I've been going here for at least 10 years when I go back to the East Bay to visit the family. Their selection of Nigori sake's is excellent excellent. Pro-Tip: Make a reservation. They get busy because the location is rather small.

This is the best Sushi in the Danville area as far as I'm concerned. The fish is very fresh. The nigiri & rolls are on the smaller side, but the quality of the fish is excellent. If you buy great fish and serve it fresh, you have the beginnings of great sushi, but the presentation must be excellent too, and... More

We used to lovethis place, but lately you can only visit when they are not busy if you want service. This was the second time this has happened...We sat there for 45 minutes after placing our order and only received seaweed salad. While at the same time there were 3 or 4 to go orders filled, as well as 2... More
