Stopped in Mambo's for a quick bite late lunch and ordered the daily special which was the paella. I also ordered a coffee, hmmmm I will be back!

I love this place. Everything I've had on the menu is perfectly cooked. The service is always outstanding with plenty of suggestions. My favorite is the Media Noche (Cuban sandwich on sweet bread) and a Cuban coffee.

My wife really enjoys Cuban food. So we decided to give it a try. Overall the food was pretty good and had a good taste. The staff was friendly and the place is well kept.

Food was amazing, the coffee was so good I came back the next day just for that. Service was great, maybe slightly slow but that was just because we were in a hurry to catch a movie. Overall definitely one to keep coming back too

Really tasty no frills cuban food with friendly staff, reasonably priced. Tostones delicious as was the fresh crispy light chicken soup. Best cuban sandwich in Jax. Casual clean well decorated restaurant.I will return often.

Wife and I just had dinner there while visiting Mayo Clinic. The Cubanita pizza was excellent. Empanadas were great -- not greasy even though deep-fried. Staff was friendly and attentive, and helped each other to keep service prompt. Nice Cuban music. Easy to get into the shopping center. No negatives at all. Maybe the only problem is that the extensive... More

I met a group for dinner before a meeting. Time was a little early for dinner so the place was quiet when I got there. Two staff members welcomed me at the door and offered a menu and a seat. I told them I was expecting 6-8 others and they immediately set to arranging tables for us. Our group of... More

My husband and I have been eating at Mambos ever since we discovered their Mayport location. Their fried pork chunks and shredded pork is marinated in their homemade mojo liquid which is delicious. I wish you could buy it fresh. Their roasted chicken and yellow rice is also my favorite. Fried plantains and Yuca are also favorites. My husband likes... More
