My husband and I split the large order of fish and chips. The fish and the fries were both delicious. It was worth the wait in line. I waited about a 1/2 hour. The people in line were friendly so I didn't mind the wait.

Whoa! Best fish and chips I've had. Skip the tartar or any other kind of sauce except maybe a squeeze of fresh lemon (bring your own) or malt vinegar and that's it. You'll be amazed.

A good friend reccomended a stop as this main stay food cart. “ Brave the long line and pigeons .” He said. Well, I did, on a cold day, mumbling under my breath that he best be right. I watched the red and white paper...More

Always consistant! We stop here everytime we are in Astoria (a few times a year). Very limited menu - they only do fish (tuna) and chips but they're the best!

Well worth the short wait. Take the opportunity to make new friends in line while waiting for this fabulous fish. It was SO good......albacore firm, not fishy, perfectly fried, great crunch to outside. Yummy!!

The Bowpicker, besides being a unique takeaway location, has some wonderful white albacore tuna fish and chips. There may be a line and you are subject to the weather, but worth it. Just get there in time because, when they run out, they close!

Sometimes they are open and sometimes they are not. If you are lucky, they are open. Cash only, wait in line outside and hope it is not raining. Fish and chips was good. Not greasy and nice breading. Larger cut fries with good taste. Get...More

Was passing through Astoria and saw some glowing reviews for this place. And man, did it live up to the hype! Freshly done fish and chips were out of this world. Tender flavorful albacore tuna with nice, crispy, not-too-thick breading. Their fries shared the great...More

**Cash only, no cards. Delicious fish and chips in downtown Astoria right off of Marine Drive. There’s no seating, food is to go. Enjoyed lightly beer batter albacore fish and chips that were simply amazing. Chips are thick steak type fries. Vinegar, tartar and other...More

Lots if quirky places in Astoria. Go to the place by maritime museum, it is an actual boat on land. Serves albacore tuna fish n chips, long lines at times. Ship inn has great food too.
