Stopped by for happy hour and ended up staying for dinner. Decent prices, good drinks in a fun atmosphere.

After a disappointing dinner at Fulio's the previous night, we were looking for a restaurant to help us forget about that one. We chose the Silver Salmon Grille just a few doors down and it was one of the best dinners we had on our entire 30 day vacation. The seafood is prepared perfectly and there are so many choices... When we visit Astoria, we make it a point to have a really nice, quiet dinner at the Silver Salmon Grille. We have had several of their salmon and seafood dishes. We have never had a bad meal!!! The servers always know what is fresh caught and what the daily specials are. One of my favorites is Salmon Your Way... More

A quiant restaurant in downtown Astoria. I asked my server what he would recommend between three entrees I had in mind. He steered me towards the salmon explaining, "It's the end of salmon season". I'm guessing he meant it is the end of fresh caught salmon. I heeded his recommendation and opted for the Parmesan & Herb Encrusted Salmon. It... More

We were casting about a little bit for a dinner spot in Astoria. We dropped in on a Saturday night around 7:30 and were seated right away. There's not a lot to say except that the food was good. The fish was fresh and well prepared. The wine list was deep enough that we were able to find a good... More

We stopped here for a quick lunch on our way out of town. Salad was cold, crisp, and very good. And the clam chowder was excellent - thick and creamy with lots of clams.

I had a nice, quiet lunch by myself in this restaurant. Only in Astoria for part of the day & I wandered around downtown. I ordered a drink, seafood chowder & their smoked salmon cheese bread. The chowder was served nice & hot, just how I like it & the cheese bread was phenomenal! The price was reasonable & the... More

While not an inexpensive meal, the ambiance, the attention to detail, and plush appointments make a visit to the Silver Salmon well worthwhile. One has a responsibility to order properly (fried fish tastes the same everywhere) but when choosing proper offerings there is a fine dinner to be had at this stylish and comfortable restaurant. The salmon with crab and... More

Silver Salmon came highly recommended by hotel staff. And it was spectacular! For an appetizer we tried the Pacific Rim Cheese Bread with smoked salmon crumbles...OUT OF THIS WORLD! And for dinner the Silver Salmon Supreme was to die for. Desserts crazy delicious as well. Server was very professional and did a wonderful job. Can't wait to visit Astoria again... More

Waiter was rushed and condescending. Didn't mention specials - we only heard about them from another table after we ordered. Dropped off our food and never returned. I had to get up and go to another room to ask the hostess for our check. Food was good, not great, but I can't recommend because of horrible service.
