First visit and what a great experience it was! We had Chilli Chicken Momos, Goat Korma (not in the menu but they cooked a special order for us) and Mango Lassi. All the dishes were AMAZINGLY TASTY. They accommodated our "not spicy" request with great care, and we could taste all the flavors not being intimidated by the unbearable for us heat of strong spices. The Momos were probably the best we've ever had. Though the Goat dish looked not big visually, we couldn't believe we hardly finished it, so filling it was with a good amount of meat in it. Nice ambiance, Very nice and accommodating service, Very clean and quite reasonable in point of prices. We travel to Delaware on the route passing by this wonderful place quite often, and so glad to discover this place to stop by for a great lunch.

We’ve been coming to this restaurant ever since it opened many years ago. It has changed hands a few times, but it has always been very good. Our 9 year old has loved it ever since birth and we will continue to come.

I visit Mount Everest with my son's family about every other month. The restaurant is located in a newly refurbished shopping center on Route 1, just north of the Baltimore Beltway. I highly recommend the lunch buffet. The variety of salads, fruit, rice dishes, vegetable dishes, and meat dishes is outstanding. The staff is very friendly and responsive and will keep you well supplied with naan bread. The restaurant is very popular with the local populace. On our last visit, we were the first to arrive, but the place filled up within a few minutes.

Extensive menu, decent food but no real f we will factor. Restaurant lacks ambiance but I suspect thus is more of a takeout place. BYOB.

Love watching my 9-year-old eat with gusto here! We love their chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, aloo gobi, and biryani. Tried the coconut shrimp app on recent visit - it was fantastic! Love that they offer chai tea on the lunch buffet and the service is always friendly.

These folks have clearly improved quality since my last review. Our pakora, chicken korma, lamb rogan josh, and garlic naan were pretty good, although the korma could have used significantly more coconut milk/cream. Service was exceptionally friendly and attentive, and, as always, we appreciated their byob policy.

A wonderful place to eat with gluten free and vegan options. For meat eaters -it is Halal. A non-descript store front but inside great food and service. The food is Indian, Nepalese and a small American/kids selection. I had never had Nepali food and I would recommend it highly- the spices are more subtle than Indian and everything was good. The vegetable pakoras on the appetizer menu had 6 good size fritters a nice share. If you are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn-White Marsh their free shuttle will bring you here. Again, if you like Indian food try Nepali food you will be pleasantly surprised

Had a meeting in Nottingham and decided we were in the mood for India. Looked around to find the Mt. Everest. Although the shopping center is not much to look at and the windows are very dark, the inside was a pleasant surprise. Linen tablecloths and napkins and a robust menu of Indian and Nepalese food. Tried the Lamb Jhalfrezi with Naan Bread. Tender chunks of lamb with vegetables in a spicy (you decide how spicy) sauce with basmatti rice. Wonderful experience. If I am ever in the neighborhood again, I will be sure to stop by.

We visited the newly opened Hampden location. The food was fresh and reasonably priced. Clean dining area and bathrooms. The server forgot one of our drinks and ended up taking it off the bill, giving us one when she realized it, and also gave us a 'to go' drink for free. Additionally, they offer you extra rice free of charge.

I have reservations about the quality of any all-you-can-eat resteraunt but persuaded by my Indian friend to give this place a try. Mount Everest is located in a retail strip just off of the beltway. It consists of a double storefront with a confortable decor that's just a bit Spartan. Weekends offer an all you can eat buffet for $10.95, including 20 hot and cold selections. I'm inclined toward vegetarian when eating Indian and ME does not disappoint here, especially the chic peas (Chana Masala). The meat dishes were also well prepared, including lamb, goat and chicken. There are various salads and fruit as well as saffron and white rice. The naan bread is outstanding. I will definitely come back.

Really the worst. I'm not sure of these folks that have this place good reviews at all. It's cheap $9 lunch buffet. They have 4 cold salads, 3 chicken selections, tilapia fish which is the worst fish to eat, and the rest are rice or veggie dishes. Not a large selection of you want to get your money's worth. The food is blah! They lack flavor and you can tell the quality of the ingredients is just poor and not good high quality food and spies. This is not good. Even when the man bread was brought out, it looked wonderful but smelled of a guys cologne. We had to send it back. This place is not good.

My wife and I were looking for something different and we had never eaten this style of food (Nepalese) so we thought we would give it a try. The food was very good, similar to Indian currys. What was nice was that you could order it by what spice level you wanted. She had the Curry Chicken and I had the Curry Lamb. Very good.

This restaurant is located in a strip mall and this might scare you away, but don't be afraid! The food was very tasty, generous, and spiced as you like on a scale of 1-10. I asked for a "5" and probably could have gone up to a "7" so I think the chef is conservative. The atmosphere is casual, everything looked clean, the service was very polite and on top of things. I had a Groupon, which helped me get over my fear of restaurants in strip malls, but I would go back even paying full price. My favorite was the appetizer, it was chicken, but I can't remember the name. My BF and I fought over the last bite. My only complaint is that I got charged $2.99 for a regular ice tea when the menu clearly states that the price was $1.99. When I pointed this out, the server said it was a mistake on the menu. OK, then why was I charged extra if it is the restaurant's mistake? The food was so good, I can overlook the extra $1 charge, but, hey, fix the menu!
