I like going into Hampden to eat out, lots of choices. Street parking is usually a bear, but we lucked out this day. We were there around 1pm and it was not crowded. I had 3 kids with me and they were happy with the...More

I really enjoy coming here. The food is good, but the brunch drinks are even better. The margaritas seem larger than I'd expect and the Moscow mule has a really nice touch of ginger. Overall, the food is good. It doesn't stand out as excellent,...More

I so wanted to love this place. Loved the look, service, but the food was lacking. I had the chicken pot pie and it was so incredibly over seasoned that I couldn't even eat it. I have never sent anything back and was hoping that...More

Crab cakes are wonderful, Chicken Pot Pie is delicious and the Turkey Dinner is the bomb! Leave room for desserts as they are homemade and they go quickly. We usually reserve our desserts before we even order of dinner. Everything here is tasty and delicious!

Enjoyed lunch at Cafe Hon recently. It's a good place to enjoy with friends or family with the standard sandwich menu. Service was good and the only drawback might be finding parking on 36th Street.

We drove up to the Avenue for Christmas shopping and had to eat at Cafe Hon again. The food is still really good and our waiter Manny was very attentive. There was even a Christmas parade out front, it made for a really nice day.

Have eaten here several times over many years. Still interesting but losing it's local feeling and becoming more of a "tourist trap." Food is good but over priced for the kind of place it is, especially the desserts -- $6.99 for a piece of apple...More

Very good reply (on 16th April) to that horrible review... Well done! People can be so mean! I applaud your bravery in challenging this, which was professional and polite. I live in the UK and have come on here after watching Kitchen Nightmares. But if I ever come to Baltimore, this is the first place I will come. Good luck with your beautiful restaurant. By the way, we say it a little differently over here and call each other 'Hun', so the phrase must have somehow made its way all the way from Baltimore :)

Thank you so much for your response. We spent a lot of time on that answer, making sure everything was correct. It is disheartening when people are mean-spirited, but we just keep smiling, and serving delicious food in a... More
