I have been going here for years, the food is usually pretty good. I like the atmosphere in the main dining room; there is a fire place white tablecloths etc. They have good specials; steaks and pork roast is excellent.

I met some girlfriends for brunch here and wow! What an awesome place! Atmosphere: casual and homey. Food: delicious and made from scratch from family recipes. Service: welcoming and friendly. Before you know it, you're on first name basis with the owner and the bartenders and servers. Danny the owner, respected our opinions on his food. He's also the chef.... More

We were out on our bikes and came across this restaurant so we stopped in and had a great lunch. I had the top round beef sandwich with au jus. Very good. My wife had the crab hash which she loved. I had an apple pie cake for dessert which allowed me to complete our ride. Service was good

Hull Street Blues Cafe is a great place, plain and simple. Down home, down to earth people in a charming cafe. They hold true to Sunday brunch--a flat price for all you can eat of their brunch buffet. None of this a-la-carte business, which to me is not the way brunch should be done. Their buffet is not extensive, but... More

First off, this is not a blues bar as the name may imply. The bartender and locals were very friendly to this out of towner. Great food and many types of beer to choose from

Our second time here and had excellent crab cake sandwiches. Side salad is huge and easily shared. Even with the crowd in the bar it was quiet in the dining room. Nice experience. Will come again and would recommend it to others.

While we initially expected the same old local cafe in the heart of Locust Point, Hull Street Blues turned out to be a hidden gem. The meals were well prepared, not salted to death, were visually appealing and tasted fantastic. While patrons initially come in through the bar, the adjoining area is set with tables for dining. It is also... More

My family has dined at the Hull Street Blues Cafe time and again. We have enjoyed brunch, lunch and dinner. In fact. we hosted our son's rehearsal dinner there a few years ago and it was a fine event. The food is consistently very good-to-excellent, the bar serves good drinks and beer/wine. The ambience is one of a friendly neighborhood... More

One of those little bar restaurants that exists among other small businesses and homes in the older part of the city. A place used mostly by locals wanting a drink, light fare and conversation. Pleasant, decent food and small plates. We ate during the Tuesday night $5 hamburger night. A good value in a comfortable setting. No call ahead or... More
