Crabcake and deviled eggs was on the menu for me today while visiting Baltimore. Just yummly! Word of caution- though the food is great, the neighborhood can sometimes be a little sketchy. Take a friend or two, stroll through the market and enjoy sampling from a variety of foods. Go hungry and leave stuffed.

Great time choosing a lunch and then lucked out with a live band playing. Easy access by metro though we braved the December breeze to walk from The Brexton. For those nervous of crowds, lots of visible security. Everyone we spoke with, vendors and patrons, were very helpful. Find a table on the 2nd floor balcony in the Arcade.

6 of us went to the market. Huge selection of fresh fish, meats and fruits. Live entertainment was playing in the main bldg which was nice. Lots of yummy food vendors so go hungry. If you are looking for shopping this isn't the place. Don't go to the other part of the market- bldg across from the main bldg as... More

First time in this fabulous iconic food market and although very pricey, the lump crab cakes and locally brewed Pilser IPA were delicious! So many vendors, your taste buds will go insane for a taste, lol. We were fortunate to sit and enjoy our meals in the Lexington Room and compare eats. There was jerk chicken, Saigon beef & peppers,... More

We stopped in the Lexington Market after an enjoyable crab cake at Faidley's (which is part of the Lexington Market). We found many stands offering fresh meats, seafood, and veggies. I wish we had a gem like this in our hometown. Very polite merchants.

This is my favorite of all the fried chicken spots in the Market. It's always hot, juicy and very crispy!

I put this in the restaurant category because people eat her, they eat a lot here! Yes it's a market too. But it's also a place for food and foodie eats. This place is like a food truck park! Don't know what you want to watch? Maryland crabs, crab cakes, oysters, hamburgers, Asian, pork, beef, fish? This place has it... More

First time ever in Baltimore and love seafood, so enjoyed Faidley's seafood section. This place is huge with every type of food under one roof. I would, however, not go alone or at night. It was a great experience but would probably not go back unless I am accompanied by someone that knows the area very well. Crab cakes were... More

It was run down. Lots of locals hanging out but not making purchases. Nobody was smiling or seemed friendly. It was not a tourist stop.

If you want to go you should go during the day. It is in an urban area and a lot of locals hang out inside and outside. There are a lot of different types of restaurants to choose from with to go foods or eat in.
