We came for dinner and I immediately loved that the menu had some things I'd never tried before. I usually always get eggplant parmigiana when I go to an authentic Italian restaurant, but I decided to try something new...the bison meatball dish. It was superb! The homemade pasta and sauce it came with were delicious...I ate every last bite! And... More

This is such a unique little restaurant with wonderful food and great service. I had cod, which was delicious, and we all shared calamari as an appetizer. I don't normally like calamari, but this was wonderful. The waitress recommended a chianti that paired perfectly with our meal. While the first floor is small, even as it filled up, it did... More

Our meal was delicious, we had no reservations & were greeted with a smile. Everything was made to order. Pasta was fresh made. Only issue if you're not in time crunch order your app, enjoy, then order your entree to slow the kitchen down.

We met our friends from Baltimore here. It was worth the drive (rare for Little Italy). Plus there is parking available in a (comped) lot 1 block away--ask for details. The grilled octopus was delicious, as was the tri color salad. Our pasta--manicotti and tagletelli--were homemade. The salted cod and eggplant were also very good. Desserts were tasty. Wine was... This is a charming Italian restaurant, where we can dine in a sunny bright ambience. I had a wonderful sandwich (pork and cheese) for lunch. Staff are all friendly and helpful. One of the best Italian places in this neighborhood!

You are likely to miss Cafe Gia if you are walking around little Italy. It is a small restaurant on a street corner. But once you walk in you know you are in a special place. It is a family run restaurant. Most likely you will meet Gia or her daughter and you won't know it. The tables and walls... More

The food was good. Had chicken piccata and partner had shrimp fra Diablo. Both dishes were good. In Little Italy section of Baltimore.

The owner, Giovanna?, stopped by to talk and give her thoughts on Italian food. Come to find out her daughter was our waitress. She was great and not pretentious at all. Besides the nice talk the food was absolutely the best Italian we've had. The northern style lasagna was excellent. Looking forward to the next time.

I love eating at Gia's. I was there yesterday after a long absence and the food was as good as I remembered. However, there a couple things that prevent me from giving them a 5 rating. They do not include a side of greens with their baked cavatelli. If they did, it would be the perfect meal. Come on, Gia's,... More

The sign outside says “Urban yet homespun” which kind of says it all. Café Gia is very cute, with a quirky style all its own, featuring ceiling fans and attractive bar, painted walls with cafe signs and lively painted tabletops. I really wanted to like the food because I liked the vibe so much, but I could not. It wasn’t... More
