This unique small restaurant is the passion of Michael and Candice and serves only local fish and vegetables sourced from local sources. A limited wine list is the only negative from our visit, but we did find a couple of bottles that we liked. I had the shrimp and risotto as recommended by my local and the wife had grouper... More

This restaurant is an Italian restaurant which may be good for drinks, I came on an of night by the cook and what I had would not make me come back. The clam chowder was watery enough to drink with a straw and served lukewarm. The half dozen oyster I asked, were very small and certainly not worth it. As... More

It was the night before Thanksgiving so their business was slow that night. The waiter/owner/chef came out and talked to us quite a lot. He told us his business plan and how he ran his restaurant. It was easy to see that he was very proud of what he had accomplished and justifiably so . Our food was superb. He... More

My husband and I had often discussed going to Cha Bella but I wished we had skipped it. We visited for supper a few weekends ago. The service was very slow, and disjointed. The bar tender was the most helpful. My husband ordered the steak and when it arrived the glaze was burnt. The steak had not one bit of... More

In the center of town, but very conveniently on the way. The decor is very nice and upscale. The prices are very reasonable. The wine list is a little short, but they do carry Caymus! They were out of the bottle of wine we originally order, but they substituted Caymus for the same price. The food and service was excellent.

Lance and the Team went over and above for our daughter's special day. I was allowed to drop off her gifts early to offer an unexpected surprise. When we arrived her gifts were neatly arranged on the table. The attending host wished her a Happy Birthday, and that just made her night even extra special. The Chief prepared an delicious... More

I am sad as local to write a less than stellar review of a local establishment as Savannah is the place I go to eat. I love the idea of the farm to table menu, however that quality is lessened if the preparation is sub-par. I had the filet of beef and the char that was attempted burnt the glaze... More

I recently dined here on a weeknight and I was completely underwhelmed. The atmosphere is dark and depressing - it's not well put together. The food was fine, but nothing to write home about. I live in California and eat farm to table almost daily. If your staple diet includes McDonalds and Red Lobster, I can see why one might... More

Cha Bella is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is amazing and they work to ensure everything is local. They have a beautiful indoor seating area with a cozy fireplace or a beautiful outdoor covered patio. If the kids come along the patio is nice and fun for the kids with swings and movies shown on the wall.

My wife and I went into Savannah for the day when we were in Hilton Head for the week. She had read about Cha Bella in Garden and Gun and so we decided to go. It was very dark inside. The menu was lackluster and the service was average at best. Our food was fine, but nothing by special. We... More
