This BBQ restaurant is the best. It is very small and you might miss it if you don't look close, but it is the best hole in the wall! Their food was delicious.

I had a hard time finding this bbq the first time. It was worth the hunt! The second time I went, the street had been totally upgraded and I was worried the bbq might not be there anymore. I was so happy to see it still there! The food was just as delicious as I remembered.

it is my understanding that Angel's has permanently closed. May I recommend Sandfly BBQ at the Streamliner, Barnard & Henry, or Wiley's on US80 toward Tybee. It's a sad passing...

Bar none, the best Brisket BBQ. Ever. (And I've had some mighty fine BBQ Brisket.) Kind of a 'dive', but in the best possible way. House made sauce are fantastic. Cole slaw has some mustard (but not too much - it was perfect). Baked beans also great. The Brisket is on the moister side - tender, smoked - but if... More

My wife and I were looking for a good 'hole in the wall' restaurant and were recommended Angel's. We like BBQ and were anxious to try it. We were not disappointed...I had a split plate of beef and pork BBQ, I enjoyed both and could never decide which one was better. My wife loved her brisket sandwich...finding it hard to... More

I was in in Savannah on a quick day trip from Florida, and I wanted to eat where the locals eat, so I asked the bartender at "the warehouse" bar where I could go for some real BBQ, and he did not hesitate to send me to Angel's, and let me tell you something, he was right on point. Being... More

This pkace is a bit hard to find. There are 3 tables inside, so beware if you want to dine in. Order at counter. We were there prior to open, so got a table. Decent food. Great part of town. Didn't like the greens, but otherwise liked everything we ordered. Good choice in Savannah.

WOW WOW WOW - what a great place. The BBQ is brilliant. The sauces are brilliant. You gotta go to Angel's in Savannah if you love BBQ. The serving size is very generous and the prices very fair. The sauces are homemade in store and all are amazing. The chopped pork is excellent. The place is small - but that... More

Angel's BBQ is a place like you would see Anthony Bourdain visit on his CNN show. It's hard to find and a Savannah local Favorite! Angels has some of the best pulled pork sandwiches and brisket I have ever tasted. They have unique hours and are only open as long as the food lasts for the day. So, come and... More
