Alligator Soul was an amazing find for our visit to Savannah. The restaurant is below the sidewalk level so automatically you get a cool, subterranean vibe. The food just builds on that cool feeling, putting an edgy and experimental twist on classic Southern dishes. Everything...More

Make your reservations otherwise you won't get in. You'll walk right by the entrance if you're not careful. Chef changes the menu but the warm mushroom salad and seared scallops were two of my favorites but that's a small slice of the items. Loved our...More

I thought this restaurant had a very interesting menu, that included exotic meats, such as Elk, kangaroo, amongst others. They have "regular " foods as well. Service is very professional. Great experience and a classy atmosphere.

The tone of this amazing restaurant was already set when we went DOWN the stairs to the entrance - it reminded us of eating in a wine cellar. Once we entered and gave our name, all the staff greeted us with "Happy Anniversary!" We ordered...More

This charming restaurant is located in a suite of rooms with stone arches, lovely paintings and even a fireplace. It is a hidden gem, but that is not the reason to come here, the reason is the chef's palate and the delicious food. My husband...More

Our waiter Davis was very attentive to our needs. I asked for the lamb chops medium rare and they arrived medium rare. It was a birthday celebration and the three people celebrating birthdays had a special box of treats with each person's name on it....More

This place is by far my favorite Savannah restaurant. We came here a few years ago for our Anniversary and back this year for the hub Bday. For one, the food is consistent. We had the shrimp and grits and it was so selfish. We...More

Absolutely! We took our 11 month old and he loved it. He ate everything and the staff ate him up. He even wore is alligator shirt. And older kids would find the seating in the basement really cool.

I think reservations are pretty much necessary for all of the nicer restaurants in Savannah - that is what we found.
