This is a shop within a shop. It is not a place to have afternoon tea, although you can get a papercup of hot tea and there is a small area to sit and chat while you drink it (unless someone is already there). There is a huge assortment of loose teas, and various strainers, mugs, etc as well. There... More

While ducking into E. Shaver Bookstore and making our way through the twist and turns we found The Tea Room. The customer service was amazing and we were treated to tastes of various teas and a quick lesson in proper brewing. There is a cozy area to sit and sip and chat. Unashamedly while the rest of the Sisters purchased... More

I have long been a customer of The Tea Room! I have never been disappointed with the meal or the atmosphere. I only wish they still had the old location with more space! Love this place

Many unique and Interesting tea blends that the owner creates. So you will find tea blends that you can't find anywhere else such as for Jamie of Outlander tea. You can also find the standbys such as English Breakfast. Has a sitting room area by a fireplace where you can sit and relax and drink tea. Also sells interesting teapots... More

Trip advisor needs to update photos and info. This lovely little shop is located in the quaint Shaver book store, on a quiet side street at the corner of Bull. They are very knowledgeable on their tea, and have created many of their own blends. I love to stop in when in Savannah and have a leisurely tea and good... More

This is a small tea room attached to a bookshop. The Earl Grey tea here is possibly the best I have ever tasted. The lady who served the tea was somewhat of an expert on Charles Rennie McIntosh and clearly enjoyed talking about him and his work.

Good service and great lunch. Tea selection could be improved for certain. Quaint old building with lots of history. We did really enjoy it.

This is no longer where they serve a high tea. You can get a cup of tea, have not served a tea for two year. You must go to the Griphonfor that experience.

My daughter and I visited The Tea Room while visiting E. Shaver's Bookstore next door. The prices for items in The Tea Room were reasonable. It was a pleasure to shop there and sample teas. We left there with tea cups, peach tea, and a Japanese tea cup.
