Leopolds is a place not to miss! We were looking for a light meal but craving some ice cream when I spotted Leopolds. They have a nice selection of sandwiches, soup of the day and sides. Yes , everyone else knows about this spot too so be prepared for a wait. I assure you it's worth it. The line moves... More

Don't let the long line fool you. It moves quickly and menus are passed while you wait in line. Great ice cream!

We are always in Savannah in the summer, so the line here is always long, but, oh, it is worth it! The ice cream is to die for, the decor is quaint, like a '50 soda fountain. the service is very quick, which is part of what makes the wait okay.

First visit after living here or nearby for 20 years. Savannah has so much history and this place is part of it. Top notch ice cream parlor takes you back to early 1900s. High quality, they make it themselves. Very nostalgic. Don't be in a rush as they will have a line out the door as the night progresses. Friendly,... More

The banana ice cream at Leopolds is definitely worth the wait in line! Loved it! A must stop for anyone visiting Savannah!

Leopold's is a great stop! Ice cream was delicious and the place is so neat! The history of the place and the story of the owner is so interesting. The ice cream is made on the premises, just as it was generations ago. It was really good. I'll warn you, the banana split should be shared!

Old fashion ice cream parlor. Ice cream was delicious. There are tables inside and outside to sit and enjoy your ice cream or sundae. There is usually a line, but it moves quickly.

not because it has great ice cream. We honestly just found the ice cream to be good, but not great. We've definitely had better without having to wait so long in line. But they are very nice about bringing menus and cups of water to you as you wait. They have lots of staff working and really seem to keep... More

I normally don't go out of my way for "the best" Ice Cream places, since I find they don't really stand out for the most part, but we decided to go over to Leopold's after dinner one night. I am so glad we did! There is pretty much always a line, but it moved pretty quickly. Wait it out. We... More

Was at Leopold's last weekend. I had the butter pecan and it was great. Then I just had to have a Carmel nut sundae. Wow this out of this world. Yea been over the world it is number one. Lepolad's is like going back in time. The staff was great and dressed like the time period. When in Savanna try... More
