Awful. We went to celebrate a birthday and would have been happier with fast food. My husband ordered the jagerschnitzel and got the potato soup as a starter. I ordered the rouladen and a salad with a side of spatzel. The salad was ok, dressing was watered down from it being tossed on wet greens. The soup has the EXACT... More

Worst German food I have ever had. Had the schnitzel and spaetzle no flavor the schnitzel tasted more like liver than veal

Honestly Emmy's started going downhill since Oma stopped doing the cooking and passed away. This was year's ago and back in the original Zum Deutschen Ecke. I read another review where the customers had "American" cheese in the Cordon Bleu. Sorry folks, neither is there Cheddar on a Schnitzel. Also very greasy.

Maybe we just don't like German food, but this food was greasy and over cooked and kind of gross. The service wasn't bad, but it was certainly far from exceptional. Not at all up to the price. The restaurant was dark and gloomy too. There were four of us dining: 2 adults, one child and one teenager. None of us... More

We love going to Emmy's for family birthdays and anniversaries. I have only gotten one thing when I go because it is cooked to perfection, the rump steak! We also must always order the potato cakes! The dill dressing on the salad is so fresh and everyone loves the potato soup. They are consistently delicious!

I lived in Germany for six years. I can't remember ever getting American cheese in cordon bleu, or egg rolls (except in a Chinese restaurant), or battered and fried bratwurst, but you can get all those at Emmy's. Most of the other menu items are similarly weird. The few German wines on the list are cheap exports. As are the... More

What a great meal. Started out with potato pancakes and German egg rolls. For main dish had saurbraten, sauerkraut and the mini pork shanks. Awesome. Would come back again.

We have been here an hour and a half and the bread just came out. We did have appetizers but they could be faster. The house fill dressing really didn't have any flavor. The fried potatoes were good. I think the food is an acquired taste that I didn't care for. You never know until you try.

A pleasant change from all the chain restaurants. Nice quiet atmosphere with scenes from Germany. Menu had plenty of choices/variety. We started with the potato pancakes with applesauce $6.40. Then for main course I had the pork jaeger schnitzel $14 and my spouse had the variety plate $19.79. Both were very good. Our waiter Matthew provide us with very friendly... More
