Because it is out of the way, the only time I go to buy the yummy croissants and bread is when the car needs servicing. (It is very near the Honda and Toyota dealer/service centers.) These are the BEST croissants, better than some of the boulangeries (bread bakeries) in the 7th Arrondisement in Paris (a very upscale neighborhood full of... More

I love this bakery! My family had a bakery for over 30 years as I was growing up. We seek out great bakeries on family vacations or whenever visiting a new city and Clear Flour is a great find! The breads and pastries here are delicious. My son discovered Clear Flour while at Boston University and now I stock up... More

This is a tiny storefront connected to a larger artisan bakery that supplies bread and pastries to various high end hotels and restaurants in the area (and some nearby Whole Foods markets.) I have never had anything that wasn't wonderful. The French bread is the best in town, the heartier loafs are wonderfully flavorful and chewy, and their sweets are... More

The line out the door might go down the block, especially during the holidays, but it's worth the wait. Wonderfully traditional breads and other baked goods, like their authentic soft pretzels: the best to be found north of Philly.

Wonderful bread and pastry. You would think you were in Paris or Vienna. Not inexpensive but worth what you pay.

Delicious bread and baked goods. Sometimes a waiting line but worth it. Tucked on a back street and can be hard to find.

Clear Flour's offerings are a gift from heaven. I've didn't replace my bread maker when it broke after moving here to Brookline, because it no longer compared to what I could get on the corner.

I'm all for Clear Flour Bread. I like the people who work there, I like the ideas, and my daughter especially likes the olive rolls. But unfortunately, I find the bread about average for a specialty bakery. It's good, much better than what one gets most other places in the area, but compared with Flour, Iggy's, and even (for some... More

If you want authentic French pastry, this place has it down. Easily one of, if not the best bakeries in Metro Boston. I've only ever had tarts and croissants, but I have no reason to believe that everything there is not high quality. Was just in Paris in March, so I have a pretty good basis for comparison.
