Although it's no longer functioning as a train station, the lovely historic interior is largely preserved. As someone who has lived in Germany a good number of years in the 80's and 2000's, I can vouch for the food here being authentic and well done.

This German restaurant in Old Town gives the ambiance of a well-established, solid landmark type of place. I've dined here several times and always found the food to be delicious and intriguing. Nice ambiance and the prices are what you'd expect for this dining experience.

My family enjoyed an amazing meal at the Bavarian Chef in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The food was truly amazing -- prepared to perfection, served hot and without a lengthy wait. Our server was courteous and very efficient. We loved the ambiance of the place - all in all, it was a great experience! Highly recommended.

I was able to get reservations just three days out. The staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend the chicken cordon blue.

Housed in a handsome, old train station with an enticing menu, the veneer of this restaurant inspires high expectations, but the result felt uninspired and contrived.

I found this restaurant to be quaint and enjoyable, the food was good, the service was excellent, cold rainy day when I was here, warm and comfortable by the fire. I had the Baden Baden, stuffed chicken breast with a peach sauce not too sweet, very good, red cabbage was also good, mashed potatoes were ok, could have been hotter.... More

The food here is outstanding. I had the bacon wrapped, shrimp stuffed, chicken breast and it was delicious! All of the sides were outstanding as well as the soft-pretzel appetizer! Very good food, worth every penny!!

My husband and I went after my parents suggested it and he has never had German food like I have and he feel in love with the food and beer. They give you so much food but the flavors taste of heaven and I do not drink but the Hufbru beer was delicious.
