After much research of Old Town Fredericksburg restaurants with event space, Bavarian Chef shone bright. Their practice of including everything into one per-person price made them come out a better value than the rest. When the other restaurants charged separately for food pp, hourly room...More

Everything I love, particularly when I'm traveling. Unique, locally family owned, great food, reasonably priced ... exactly what I love to find. Serious bonus points for preserving an old landmark (in this case, a train station). Excellent food. Classic German, with their own twists. Even...More

Went week before last. Had a 3 course meal of salad, entree, and dessert. The entree(schnitzel) was huge and delicious. The entrees came with 4 sides. A very good meal at a fair price.

New Years Eve, we had a party of 10 and our waitress kept up like a pro!! The food was incredible! The beer was great too! We are just aching for a reason to go there again!

First time visit to this restaurant; I was disappointed with the food and service. Living in Germany for 14 years, I was looking forward for a great dinner with my date. My date ordered the Cordon Blue, while I ordered the French Onion Soup and...More
