Tried Amy's for lunch on a sunny Friday. It has a nice outdoor patio. Food was decent but not great. Full bar but very limited draft beer selection if that is your preference. The servers are friendly. They have entertainment on Friday nights. There are a lot of places to dine so when your food is just ok it makes... More

Ate lunch here on Saturday, 3/11/17, restaurant was half full upon arrival and filled up quickly. We were promptly greeted by Deborah who pointed out a few table choices for us. Received friendly and efficient service from Nancy, our server who recommended the Fried Green Tomatoes, accompanied by a side of Wasabi Mayo. Delicious combination. I had the Chipotle Turkey... I've never been a fan of fried green tomatoes. Maybe it the texture of corn meal and the grease. But we tried them at Amy's and I couldn't stop eating them! Dipped in a batter much like that of fish and chips and served with a Wasabi Mayo sauce. WOW! I really enjoyed my catfish but the tomatoes stole the... More

Ate here on a Sunday and the place was very busy. We ordered breakfast - eggs benedict and a breakfast sandwich. Hardly a drizzle of hollandaise sauce so we asked for more and the breakfast sandwich egg was rock hard. (I didn't complain or send back because I didn't want to wait any longer for my meal) Sides of potatoes... More

What a cute café!! Very historic and rustic. We had brunch and were very happy with our meal. The service is warm and friendly. They treat you like family. The chocolate chip pancakes were delicious and a very nice serving of bacon. I would love to go and sit outside. Such a nice café.

We stopped in as a large group on a Sunday morning for breakfast. The place is nice looking, older and they did a good job decorating to keep the age-appeal of the building. The biggest issue we first noticed was the very limited menu. The menu didn't have ANYTHING remotely healthy. Most items were fried and their fruit bowl was... More

Came to this cafe at about 1:15 on a beautiful Friday. The place was busy but there were some empty tables. We asked a passing waitress if we could sit at an empty table in the corner. We got a grunted yes. We sat down and stacked up the empty dishes on the side. We sat there for about fifteen... More

Always love our Amy's Cafe! The food, service, and venue are always top shelf! We feel like home when we visit and absolutely love the staff...every one makes us feel like family the moment we walk in. This is the best kept secret in Fredericksburg and one we will enjoy for years to come. Order a Banging Betty Bloody Mary... More

Good local place to eat in an old brick building just off Rt17, close to the river and next to the big bridge into Fredericksburg. Plenty of parking. Nothing fancy but good tasty food. Fire was burning in both fireplaces that added a nice ambiance. Interior is a bit neglected and it could do with a fresh coat of paint.

Went to lunch with a friend. I asked for recommendations from the waitress. She recommended the Reuben sandwich. It was very good.
