The basement location across from the Library belies a large menu of Korean-style dishes. There's a Korean grocery store across the hall too. Generous flavorful servings include kimche and pickled vegetable side dishes - all pleasingly presented. Fish tanks and karaoke as well!

This place is downstairs in the bowling alley, which is enough to scare plenty of people away- but that is part of the charm in the place! The food is tasty and seemingly authentic- just don't let the location scare you!

I love going here to get dinner with people. They have a huge variety of different foods including sushi. One of my favorite parts apart going here is the little plates that they bring out while preparing your food. You get about six different little appetizers that can make everyone happy. They range from sweet to spicy and the potatoes... More

I am from Anchorage and have spent 5 years in Korea. The food here is alright. The portions are small. The sides are fresh and good. But, the staff is unfriendly and does not offer to bring you more of the sides. This is the first time that I have felt ignored. Would I come back again? More than likely... More

I travel a lot to Korea and have to say that Seoul Gate was very good. Place is a little run down but kept clean and service was excellent.

Not many people eating there in the day time and the portion of food is small. They used frozen seafood and vegetable.

I travelled from L.A where there are so many Korean restaurants around. But I would say, Seoul Gate's dishes are really tastier than the foods from L.A. I ordered the spicy pork bbq and youkgaejang.- both are so yummy!!! I emptied all the food served, even the side dishes.- almost felt like guilty... Especially recommend to Korean travelers who need... More

Never been disappointed. Love the yakisoba, wonton soup, dolsot bibimbap, and all the side dishes:) atmosphere isn't fancy or great but that's not why I go there.

I went with a family member who is Korean while I was visiting the Fairbanks area. The food is very delicious and my family member says it is very authentic and she is from Seoul. The atmosphere leaves much to be desired. It's dark and tables are a bit sticky, but the food is wonderful.
