Great food & service!! Brunch with a French flair…once had eggs & second time a very delicious burger!! Next time I have to try the flintstone-sized "baked" pancakes that look pretty outrageous!! They take 40 minutes to make so I didn't both times but finally asked about calling ahead for an order & they said that's ok…so yay to that!!... More

Food was delicious (we went for Sunday brunch - I recommend getting there right for opening for it was getting very packed by the time we left! And the place is not big!). Ordered Croque Madame which was delicious! Mimosa was also amazing and my friend's Bloody Mary was too (and I do not usually enjoy them!). Everything that came... More

Quaint French bistro in Williamsburg. Lovely, efficient and unobtrusive service. Lamb ragôut was excellent! The portion was a tad bit on the small side but I'd definitely order it again. My companion devoured the duck confit. The creme brûlée was the perfect dessert. Tables are pretty close together and it can get pretty noisy. Hard to converse with people across... More

I'd read good things but this French bistro but it really surpassed my expectations. My squash and mushroom risotto was one of the best risottos I've ever had and my guest's steak was equally great. The front room was crowded and noisy but there's a big room in the back that was almost empty so if you like it quiet... More

Le Barricou is great, and in what is currently an up and coming neighborhood. Everything I've ever had here was excellent. Unfortunately, once the food came out cold. Not warm, not lukewarm, but cold. Disaster. However, it's typically excellent and it's hard to find anything on the menu that one wouldn't like.

I can't stop thinking about the best brunch experience I've ever had here in NY! Went all the way to Brooklyn. My sister and I waited for 20 mins for a table. Wait was so worth it! Ordered this croissant with spinach feta and steak and eggs. I was not disappointed with the servings plus the taste! Also got the... More

Went there for breakfast/brunch (from Manhattan - quite a hike!). Atmosphere is a bit old world & quite pleasant. Selection for breakfast was quite good & very good quality. Coffee was also very good. The Apple Frittata was quite good, the Duck Confit Hash is quite filling & rich, the Croque Madame was quite wholesome & very tasty. All in... More

My daughter lives in Brooklyn. I never knew Brooklyn before she moved there and I have discovered some wonderful places. Barricou is one of these where we ate one night. The food is french bistro, the wine list limited but well chosen and the service excellent. It is also roomy and relaxed. I can imagine the same place in Manhattan... More

We were having a wander around Brooklyn on a rainy Saturday morning and just happened to stumble across this little place, and we were so glad we did. We spent a great couple of hours enjoying the atmosphere, a few mimosas and lovely food. Would definitely recommend it.
