Unpretentious but high quality. Went for a later dinner, and was pleasantly surprised to see they were serving a "late night mini brunch"! But you can't go wrong with the pasta dishes which are delicious and reasonably priced. Only draw back is that it is cash only, but a lot of places in this neighborhood are the same.

We read a blog post about the best brunch places in Brooklyn and while there are a few to choose from, the best pancakes in Brooklyn were apparently served here! Oh boy this did not dissapoint! The pancakes were light and fluffy and served with all sorts of toppings, the classic was maple syrup and cream and fresh fruits. As... More

Every time we are in Brooklyn, a visit to Café LuLuc's is an absolute must. For easy and chilled atmosphere, wonderful hamburgers and cheery staff at very reasonable NYC prices, I don't think it gets any better. Don't expect sophistication, but do expect a great meal and service. You won't be disappointed. There is also seating outside for good weather... More

One of the best onion soups in recent memory. Thick, rich, not shy on garlic and gruyere. Perfectly seasoned. For main I had the Gorgonzola and bacon ravioli - just the right amount of cheese and again, perfectly seasoned. The reason it gets three stars instead of four is the cash only policy. Very inconvenient when you are a tourist... More

The pancakes may quite possibly be the best I've ever had. Cafe Luluc bakes their pancakes, giving it a uniqueness that is unsurpassed. We visited on a Saturday around 2pm and the wait time stated to us was 20-30 minutes. However, we waited for 65 minutes. Cafe Luluc only has a few tables and the hostess said that folks simply... We really enjoyed our breakfast here - omelette with cheese and bacon anda grilled chicken and avocado sandwich were delicious. The hole style fries with cheese were hard to resist. Coffees were acceptable given the quality of the food, but I wouldn't come here just for the coffee.

We met a friend here for brunch and enjoyed the spot very much. Because the weather was unseasonably warm we were able to sit outdoors. Otherwise, the wait would have forced us to choose another spot. If I wanted to eat here again I would go very early. The menu was varied and prices were good.

Went there on Sunday for brunch with a bunch of friends. We didn't know what to pick so we had 5 different dishes. The Nutella French toast : amazing The croque monsieur: we were a little sceptic coz it's a French specialty , but the Americans can make a pretty good one ... it came with fries with was a... More

Let's start with the Pancakes.. Thee BEST pancakes I have ever eaten in my life.. Fluffy... light and this perfect crisp on the very outer ends... Have you ever had your fruit toppings somehow end up soggy? You won't get that here... It's like they're cut fresh right before they're put on the pancake... and remains that way...I am not... More

On the lazy days when I am craving brunch at the ripe ol' hour of 4pm, Cafe Luluc saves the day when other restaurants have stopped serving brunch much earlier. The omelette I got was delicious and substantial and they had $5 mimosas and bloody mary's to go along with - I was a very happy customer!
