Jerejef for bringing Senegalese food to Brooklyn for a great price! Serves all the goodstaples (from mafe to yassa to ceebu jen) at decent prices. Welcome addition.

I have never tried this cuisine before but my cousin recommended it. I ordered the Joloff rice and the chicken with cashews. It was SO good, I ate my entire plate which was quite a big serving. Would recommend it and love to return if we are in Brooklyn again.

If you want to taste a good Senegalese food and listen african music, this is a good option. It is a small restaurant but with a beautiful decoration. Clean and a kind service by the owners. It was awarded like the best Senegalese restaurant in New York in 2013; so, it is a great inexpensive option near of the Brooklyn... More

Very intimate atmosphere with excellent service. This family owned restaurant makes you feel at home; warm decor and spacious setting. Food is made to order, fresh and well seasoned especially the Jollof rice and traditional Thiebuen Jeun. The Ginger Juice is a must have as well as the fish cakes. Their hot sauce will give you a kick.

This small Senegalese restaurant is a hidden gem on the edge of Bed-Stuy. My wife and I had a terrific dinner at completely reasonable prices with plenty of delicious lunch left-overs. I had one of the chicken dishes and she had lamb. The vibe is mellow and a little funky but completely authentic. The food is terrific: well-prepared, generously spiced,... More

This small and intimate Senegalese restaurant provides healthy, fresh food including plenty of chicken and fish options. Three of us ate the fish dishes. The fish was moist and tasty. Mine was in a delicious peanut sauce. Meal portions are just right--not too big and not too small. Dinners are very reasonably priced from $10 to $15. The service was... More

Great flavor and decent serving size. They have a wonderful selection of appetizers, entrees, sides and even drinks. The service is very slow from the server taking orders, to the food prep, to getting the check. However, the flavor that greets your taste buds nearly makes up for the slow service. The decor transports you to their home. A getaway... More
