Elia is a refined dining experience in Bay Ridge. The food and service are both excellent, but despite the working class neighborhood where it is situated, the prices can be very expensive. I love Greek food, but I have a hard time paying $40+ for traditional items that can be had for a fraction of the cost. Reservations are not... More

Went there with a colleague/friend of mine and we ordered the dip platter as our app, branzino and lavraki for our entrees along with a bottle of wine and dessert. Food was amazing and the restaurant made you really feel warm and fuzzy from the service, decor and ambiance. Highly recommend.

We wanted to have a "greek" early dinner after a rigorous workout and decided to stay in the neighborhood. Out of two possible choices, we chose Elia..and it was a mistake. The table we chose in the back garden was not plated yet, so the waiter came to give us plates and the utensils. He served me two forks on... More

We went there to celebrate my boyfriend birthday and we loved it.The place is very nice, simple decor but you feel like you are in a small Greek tavern. The service was very good, the waiter explained the items on the menu and gave us great recommendations about the menu and wines.Everything we ordered was delicious.I especially liked the octopus for appetizer and... OK – full disclosure here – it’s small – a tight fit and sometimes a couple may feel they are at a four-top because they are so close to their neighbors, I did at first, but as the food and drink arrived, I got over it and I loved this place!! This is really, really fantastic Greek food. The fried... More

Good food. Just o.k. apple martini. Very good service. So why not 5 stars? Because they managed to ruin my favorite dessert, Baklava, by flavoring it with cinnamon. So, if you are not a big fan of cinnamon, have dinner and than go home for some Nutella.

Of course, they have meat dishes, but this is a greek restaurant, you must have fish, preferably whole, not deboned - this is the way one must enjoy delicious fish. Greek salad to start and an order of grilled octopus to share before fish comes. If you have room after all that, have greek yogurt with walnuts and honey for... More

My wife and I decided to make an Open Table reservation a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Elia in the Bay Ridge area of Brooklyn. We had no problem getting the reservation, as all times were available. We recalled that we had eaten in this restaurant several years ago, and couldn't recall why... More

We had a great night out with friends at Elia - it's a gem right here in Bay Ridge! The food was delicious, more reasonably priced than in Manhattan - and we didnt have to sit in traffic or look for parking to get the experience! Everything on the menu is delicious, but especially worth noting is their Greek Salad,... More
