This is the original Nathan's that opened in 1916. I haven't been here since I was a kid. Actually it is franchised so you don't really have to go here to eat an original Nathan's dog. Their Hot Dog eating contest is world renown with...More

We had heard about this place from one of my wife's food magazines or shows and wanted to check it out. It was great and when you get a beer you get a bucket. We had a blast!

Go for it! You have to try the typical NYC Street vendor, so try this one. Decent menu offerings. I asked the dude for a ‘well done ‘ hot-dog, which he obliged and I would recommend. Actually decent prices too. Tasty!

I was born and raised in New York City and currently still reside here. The number one rule is whenever you visit Coney Island you must get a dog from Nathan's. It's something you must do haha.

Sorry I don't remember, but you could try emailing them. I know it wasn't over the top expensive- perhaps a little more than a meal at McDonalds or Wendy's.
