I don't know that's this is the best food I've ever had, but it surely fed me through high school, college and every Sunday after church!!

This is one of the best chinese restaurant in brooklyn. I love good chinese food and am very particular about where I get it from. Kim Kay has some of the most unusual combination of dishes that I have not seen at any other place. And it tastes well. Dishes are also priced right.

They offer the best Chinese food in Brooklyn. Love their dumplings and roast pork buns. My 2nd and 3rd runners up are Dynasty on Flatbush and Red Hot in Park Slope.

Being from Texas, I was excited to try some unique Brooklyn cuisine. This place did not disappoint. I got a shrimp dish with chicken fried rice. Don't remember the exact name, but it changed my life. Sooooo good! Portions were huge. Amazing experience!!!

I suspect New Yorkers don't realize that Chinese food in New York is better than anywhere else in the country. Anyway, I ordered eggplant without the garlic sauce and with added tofu, which they accommodated cheerfully. It was delicious and inexpensive. The only criticism was that the cup of steamed rice wasn't was rather cool in temperature. Friendly service, especially... More

I've always enjoyed the food their since 1991 I used to work in the area. It's the only Chinese restaurant I know that still put eggs in fried rice. I had shredded beef with rice real tasty just too many peppers but I still ate every bit. Whenever I go to visit my hometown Brooklyn I always have to bring... More

I went there several years ago for a graduation party and was very impressed by the quality of the food; most unusual for luncheon fare. The atmosphere is simple and unpretentious. Most of the party guests talked about how often they got takeout from Kum Kau, which seems to be their forte.

This is a local carry out that seems to always have someone waiting for an order. My wife raves about their food, she loves their cashew chicken. It is ok Chinese food, I think it is all pretty much the same. They only take cash, fyi. One of the endearing parts of going here, is whoever is at the counter... More

I would love to review this place from maybe a year ago or 7 months ago, but as it stands the place is going down hill fast. The new management has not only changed the taste of the food but the service and the way you are treated when having a meal. I have never cared for people looking at... More
