I really want to give this place a 5 star review, but I just can't do it. I went in with my family of four and it was very busy. As my niece is from Brooklyn and had been there more than once I was taking her word for the food being good. The patio out back was closed for... More

I know it's Brooklyn but it's way small. The service was OK. The food was OK. The margaritas were decent (mango was the best). Got the shrimp tacos. Wasn't impressed. My world wasn't rocked but I'd go back, but not of my own will.

Came here for a business day lunch. Place was empty and the server was content to let me be. I loved the art and the aesthetic-very cool. The food was so-so. Chips and dip came as soon as I sat down but the salsa wasn't spicy at all and the chips needed salt. The guacamole that came with my burrito... More

I would like to find a reason to go back to this place but there is none. The greasy chips and salsa set you up for a Margarita which tested like a pre mixed concoction of cheap tequila and ice. The appetizers are an uninspiring mix of the usual taqueria offerings of nachos, quesadillas and guacamole ( which used to... More

Repeat diners to this family friendly joint. Margaritas are great as are the fresh chips. I had the mole which was a little too sweet. 3 kids split a hearty quesadilla appetizer. The burritos were huge...easily split amongst 2 people. I do suggest wearing layers...it was blazing hot in the back room and for some reason the ladies room was... More

We were seated right away in a tight table in the bar area which had 2 different music selections playing. It sounded like Spanish music in the background and rock from the bar (maybe a jukebox?) It took our server a while to come over meanwhile several other servers stood at the station next to us doing nothing. Bus boy... More

The service was very friendly, but the food it was nothing special, and the portions were too big form me. Small selection of beers. I liked the atmosphere, young and local people.

Go just to be surrounded by the owner's collection of paintings, sharks' surfboards, family photos and that framed array of Grateful Dead Concert tickets! Killer margaritas, homemade guac, and anything cooked on their mesquite grill. My fav are is the grilled shrimp. The menu also has gluten free options for you celiacs and/or hardcore athletes. Good brunch and less crowded... More

Had a Friday night dinner here with a friend. There was a 20 min. wait, but the hostess kindly kept giving us updates. My friend had the Tito's tacos and I had the fish burrito. The guacamole was excellent, with a constant supply of very delicious nacho chips. The margaritas were very good . Very good Mexican food and reasonably... More

Small place with a great vibe. The appetizer nachos, chicken fajita and quesadilla were great. Service was excellent. Highly recommended.
