We stopped two times during our weeklong stay to enjoy the walleye sandwiches at Gunflint Tavern. They are absolutely the BEST! We only wish that Grand Marais, MN wasn't so far away so that we could drop in more often.

Very different food and beer offerings, all good! The Asian Rice Bowl is our favorite, but the Key Lime Cheesecake is the best I have ever had!

We were looking for a restaurant in Grand Marais, and this place caught our eye. Food was delicious! I had the walleye filet, and my husband had the Nova Scotia fisherman’s stew. Busy place, great atmosphere and good service! We will be back!
