Had a family birthday dinner at the Greenbriar. The food was NOT good- veggies greasy, fried lobster tough, steaks only average. Service was terrible - couldn't even get enough attention to get a drink refill. OVERPRICED. OUTDATED.

Went to this restaurant for a birthday dinner upon recommendation of Trip Advisor and the Concierge at our resort. The Greenbrier is perched on the side of a hill well off the Beaten Path and in an Old Log Cabin that has been expanded for the Restaurant and what may be an event center. They do not take reservations, however,... More

I have to visit Greenbriar at least once a year when visiting to get my fix of some of the best escargot and probably the only restaurant in Sevier County!

My hubby and I thought we would enjoy a real nice dinner, you know something quaint and little upscale WRONG. Place needs serious work, run down carpet and linens and light fixtures and it could be amazing if a major overhaul was done. Food was very expensive and not happy about such bland dinner my Rib eye would have been... More

We had heard of the place, and after checking it out discovered it was well recommended and haunted too! So we decided to check it out. The drive up to it is interesting, narrow almost single lane road, so be aware of that. Steaks were tender and tasty, sides were great. Service was super, some of the best we've had.... More

If you want a quiet, intimate dinner away from the crowds, this is the place for you. Delicious food, great service, and tablecloths on the tables! Enjoy your dining experience while looking at the woods surrounding you. Don't be in a rush though, in order to really enjoy dinner, you need to allow at least an hour-hour and a half.... More

Went with another couple tonight. Have been here multiple times. My husband had the strip steak which he loved. I had the stuffed tilapia which was great. The other couple had trout (amazing!) and the special was blackened swordfish which he thoroughly enjoyed. Service friendly and efficient. Can't go wrong here! Setting in an old hunting cabin. Very quaint! Will... More

This was our first trip to Greenbrier. Although it is only about a mile away from the hustle and bustle of the Gatlinburg Parkway, it's like being in another world, inside a rustic old cabin surrounded by trees. There was a short wait for a table, so we stepped into the bar. It was evident that this is a favorite... More

Romantic dinner. Nice setting. Service was great but food was just average. We decided to eat here closer to our campground instead of fighting downtown traffic. Many older senior citizens on a Friday night. Ordered medium filet and came out well. I didn't send back because I was hungry and didn't want others to wait. Average food at best.
