Vito's is very much like what you will find in NYC with a cafe style Mom and Pop place. You can't go wrong with fresh salad, hot bread straight out of the oven, and a dish of pasta that will make you want to lick the plate. Yes, it's that good!

I have to admit that Vito's is our go-to for Italian food here. It's probably the only Italian restaurant I've been to in the city. But if you've found what you like, what's the point of continuing to search? I've made my way around their menu, from pizzas and calzones to seafood dishes to marsalas and piccatas to baked dishes... In sticking with the basics we had a nice Italian meal with leftovers to take home. Nothing fancy, nothing crazy, but certainly care taken in the kitchen and by the staff.

Food was OK, service could have been more attentive. You need too ask for things like salting the rim of a margarita glass and not mixing sauces. It was good and worthy of a second visit.

We're originally from Buffalo, NY so we know good food, and especially good Italian food. Vito's does not have good Italian food. I truly feel sorry for whoever thinks this stuff tastes good. Watery sauces and abnormal spice combinations do not make for decent dining. There were three of us eating, and we all ordered different dishes. All of the... More

Chicken Ceasar Salad is a full meal at a great price and really, really good! Family business run by friendly people (Ciro and son Sal) make for a warm atmosphere.

We came here on a recommendation. It was touted to be the best Italian restaurant in Greensboro. The service was very slow and we got there very early so as to be seated quickly. The bread was very good. We ordered a Caprese salad and Oysters Rockefeller-both were good, not great. The crab stuffed ravioli was definitely the winner of... More

I ate here recently with my two daughters. My oldest had chicken Vito which was pasta, white meat chicken, broccoli and a cream sauce. She thought it was great. A nice adult portion for $7.90. My younger daughter and I each had a bowl of the (we were told homemade) Italian wedding soup and while it was very tasty, the... More

Everyone needs a favorite family restaurant where you can go when time is short; you want a delicious meal; you want to be casual; and you don't want to spend a fortune. Vito's Italian restaurant fills all of these needs and does so in style. The young couple that run the restaurant are delightful and hard working. Service is quick... More
