Great seafood! Small bites to share. We ordered tuna tartar and some appetizers and everything was delicious. Great wine and cocktails selection.

One of the best "hot spots" in Greensboro. Stacey and her crew are always welcoming and the bar and menu are one of the very best in the Triad. I have hosted many fundraisers and charity events here as well and they could not be more accommodating. Love love the 1618 family!

This was a Friday evening. My wife and I met friends at the 1618 Wine Bar and were escorted to the back room which was a little more reserved and quiet thus excellent for conversation. We started with a salad with house dressing, beet topping and a squash bisque. I am not one typically clamoring for squash but the salad... More

Finishing off an evening of dining out, we stopped by 1618 Bar for a round of Irish Coffees. The staff offered several options and took care in preparation. Add to that, the staff were pleasant, engaged, and attentive without being intrusive. The Irish Coffees were excellent as well. We'd go back.

Stopped by tonight and ate the Shrimp Tacos and they were great. This is the "lite" version of the 1618 Seafood Grille and the wine lounge does not disappoint! Great place for quick food or to sit around for drinks. I do not drink wine however the others in here seem to be having fun drinking theirs !!

Excellent tasty food. One of my favourite places to eat. Top level service from knowledgeable servers & bartenders. Lively but mature crowd. Full of locals of all ages. 35 and up. They have the best front man in town - you'll be greeted by Al. They are always improving the space and the food. Go there!

Being the designated driver, I had a good seared tuna entree. It's a bit less substantial than a similar entree that I had a couple of months ago as I was told that menu recently changed. Nevertheless the meal was good, and I also had the salmon taco. Nice atmosphere, particularly if you are into wine. It's catered toward the... More

I live right around the corner and am blessed enough to be able to walk to 1618 Wine Bar! My fiancee and I love to come for date night on Friday's. We always get the cheese board which comes with great spreads, pickles and charcuterie. The fries are always amazing and change with the season. For instance in the fall... More

Wonderful service, creative cocktails, innovative menu and an ever changing wine list. I have been multiple times for group events, date night, dinner and to just grab a cocktail and late night snack-the kitchen stays open until midnight! Do yourself a favor and check 1618 wine lounge out soon.

A name is but a name, or is it? It's a question the proprietors of 1618 Wine Lounge, newly renamed 1618 Midtown, have contemplated for several years. The establishment opened in 2011 in the Irving Park Plaza as a 38-seat lounge and bar, serving artisan cocktails, craft beers and wine. "In the beginning, we were mainly an after-work spot, with patrons enjoying cocktails through the early evening," said co-proprietor Nick Wilson. Through the years, the Wine Lounge evolved into much more than a place to hang out and enjoy a glass of wine and appetizers with friends. With customers' desires for an expanded menu growing, major renovations began in 2013, adding a 28-seat semi-private dining room to the back of the restaurant and a full kitchen, increasing the restaurant's capacity to create a wider menu.
