The views from this restaurant are absolutely stunning overlooking the terraced rice fields. The buildings are lovely, the washrooms are clean and the staff were lovely; the food however is forgettable.

We stopped here for lunch after seeing the largest temple in Bali. The buffet food was just okay but the views were beyond words. The mixed juice was very good & I ended up ordering it everywhere we went after. The rice fields and greenery are unbelievable!! I could have sat there all day just thanking God for allowing me... Very overpriced buffet with awful food. Near-empty chafing dishes with cold food. Chicken was mostly bones, pork satay was mostly gristle. Even the mie goreng was bad. Told that a la carte menu "takes a very long time." Indifferent staff with attitude of "we're the only restaurant around, you have no other choice, so we don't really care about pleasing... More

I stopped here under the suggestion of my driver and was disappointed. Was traveling during January, the off season which thankfully meant it wasn't filled up with tourist buses for which it appears it is set up for. Only option was a buffet which was horrible. I will eat anything and chose a small sample from nearly all the offerings.... More

The view of the rice terraces is spectacular and the mountain would have been nice... but it was in the clouds. The food, on the other hand, was cold and poor. Many of the buffet items were already empty at 13:30, and were not being refilled. The staff seemed totally uninterested in their customers.

We came for the view but after hours at Besakih Temple were also hungry and wanted safe food because we had already had a bit of a tummy upset before. When we asked for the menu they announced that they only had a buffet. Okay, we thought - very expensive but should be classy - and safe! It wasn't. As... More

The view of the rice fields with Mount Agung in the background here is just spectacular. But on a rainy or foggy day only the rice fields will be seen as Mount Agung is frequently covered by the clouds or fogs. The restaurant serves buffet Indonesian food with lots of choices with reasonable price.

Sadly when we arrived they were ending the buffet so there was not much food or choice. But the stunning views of the rice terrace made up for it and you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of this place without hawkers trying to peddle their wares. Loos are clean to. I actually prefered this view here, more than the... More

So long as you understand you are only here to enjoy the view, not the meal, it is OK. The building and restrooms are excellent. The buffet meal comprises of fillers mostly. We were told the lunch was 90,000, which was acceptable, given the premium facilities and location. We were NOT informed by the manager of the 21% tax extra.... More
