When we arrived we were waited on promptly.! Chips and dip were good. We ordered beef tacos, shrimp tacos, and a cheese quesadilla. We waited over 45 minutes for our food. Still no food. After we asked about it they said 5 more minutes. So after another 15 minutes still NO food! After we asked again the second time the... More

Best food of my trip yet. I had the pork chorizo and it was to die for. Very fresh my wife had the steak quesadilla and it was very good also. Check them out for sure if you are in hot springs not your average Tex mex joint.

Our activities director at the resort recommended this restaurant. We had a coupon for a free homemade cheese dip!! It was to die for and we had enough to bring home with us!!! You could tell all the food was freshly prepared. A must place for lunch or dinner.

We stopped for a lunch of cheese enchiladas and shredded beef tacos along with a margarita. I asked that white chopped onion be added to the enchiladas and they were. The enchiladas were folded rather than rolled but good. The shredded beef tacos were very flavorful. Rice and beans (of which you have a choice) were tasty. Thefrozen margarita done... More

It's always fun to enjoy a meal here. Delicious margarita made from scratch! Fish tacos are fresh and portions are huge. Friendly staff and you may see a local celebrity here, as I did during my last visit!

We ordered tacos and tostadas. What we expected were street tacos: cilatnro, onion, carnitas on a corn tortilla served with a lime wedge. I forgot we weren't in Texas! Carnitas had flavor, lettuce ,tomato and shredded cheese- not terrible, just not what we expected. Tostadas on the menu read: two crisp corn tortillas, your choice of filling, avocado, crema, shredded... More

There were 4 adults and 2 children in our group. We were seated in bar area where there was live music. The kids enjoyed that. Dinner was good. Service was a little slow. Probably due to how busy they were. Nice options for Vegetarians and Gluten Free.

We recently moved to the area fromTexas. The food had no heat. The tortilla chips were good, but the salsa had no heat and no cilantro. We ordered quacomole and it was the best part of our meal. I ordered garlic shrimp and my husband had the puffed charizo tacos. We expect food to be hot when served and it... More

My apologies for your experience with your visit. Being the chef/owner and a Texan myself we do not tout Taco Mama as being Tex-Mex but rather with a fresher approach to authentic Mexican food. I can assure you that our fire grilled salsa has plenty of cilantro. Perhaps a glitch on our part. I hope you can give us another... More

Taco Mama you rock! I didn't know this kind of quality and atmosphere existed in this area, reminded me of home in Austin Texas. Their homemade chorizo is incredible, fish tacos are wonderful, and if you want good dessert, her homemade flan is the best I've had! I'm moving back to Austin in a few months, I wish I could...
