The Tipsy Cow is great for a burger or a sandwich at lunch. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable and our server did a great job. When we were there, the place was crowded with happy customers. They offer outside dining in season.

Husband and I went to this establishment after checking out the menu online. It was decent food, with a nice selection of beers and cocktails. As it was a Monday, we stayed to play trivia and had a good time.

Although our appetizers were fine at the Tipsy Cow, we wanted finer fare for dinner after several meals of eating our fill of tasty, but "grease heavy" Midwestern fare. While we surveyed the landscape, the happy hour on the patio at this fun, downtown spot more than fit the bill for us. We were glad we stopped here, as it... More

I've only been here for a beer, so I can't speak to the quality of the food. The beer selection is good, with craft choices from Wisconsin and elsewhere. I had a Three Floyd's IPA from Illinois while killing sometime at the bar. Weekday happy hour offers $1.00 off draft beers. What I like best is the feng shui or... More

WOW - Tipsy Cow delivered on our first visit. Alex (with an X) took wonderful care of us, introducing us to the Tipsy Cow menu and many options for adult beverages. We started with Alligator bites, yum and a dark beer and a spiced cider - all excellent. I tried the Tipsy Cow Burger Saturday special - a couple Knoche... More

We came to Madison in the dead of winter and had a great time. Part of it is because of cool places like this one. The Korean fries, walleye sandwich and wide choices of draft beer were great. The bartender was laid back and cool guy. Great atmosphere. Heck this would be my hangout if I lived here

Had a great burger and fries. Surprisingly good menu went beyond usual bar food. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Highly recommended.

Went here because my daughter who is a self proclaimed ranch dressing expert read that they have some of the best in Madison (apparently there was an article that was all about ranch dressing. Who knew?) Anyway, had to get some cheese curds to test the ranch and yes, it is very good. Nice menu and everything that was ordered... More

I eat lunch here quite often. For being on 'the square' I think the prices are great, lower or similar to other places nearby. They have a really good burger, actually lots of good burgers (recently had one with chimichurri and artichoke heart 'fries' which had some pretty amazing flavors for $7--plain burger runs about $5), fries are al la...
