This place has always been on my radar and today I was in the vicinity during early dinner service. I'm from out of town but had heard about the place and Danny the owner has strong culinary roots. My wife and I popped in without reservations. No problem. The restaurant is unassuming and you might just drive past it even... More

We walked in here (without reservations) on the advice of our bartender at the Old Sugar Distillery, about two blocks away. It was a Friday night, but early enough that we didn’t have to wait for a seat. Service was very friendly and prompt. Loved the food – yes it’s not cheap, but it’s worth it for a treat. We... More

Not super into the seating vibe of the place - tables close together. However, the food is worth the semi-lame feel - pork was great, also had a ribeye there, very very good. Not cheap, but a gem on Willy Street.

A friendly atmosphere awaits you at A Pig in a Fur Coat. The decor and the menu is cool and witty, but not enough to welcome vegetarians and vegans. The wine list is plentiful and thoughtful. We arrived on time for our phone reservation and were seated right away at a high congenial communal table. The food is very creative... More

My wife and I went here on a date night. Cocktails were offbeat, but tasty. Service wasn't overly special (which was unfortunate). Ambiance was comfortable and quaint but not intimate. With all that being said, the food was amazing. It's not a cheap date, but well worth the money. I highly recommend stopping and would also recommend making a reservation.

Every dish that our group had was delicious. Our particular favorites were the fennel Olives (exquisite flavor!), the Rabbit Rillette with cherries (excellent balance of savory & sweet),the Octopus (tender), the Beets with pistachio malt soil (richly earthy) and the Scallops (prepared so that the delicate flavor of the scallops was highlighted and not overpowered). For dessert we especially enjoyed... More

Fabulous food. We went with a good size group so was able to try most of the items on their menu. Night recommend the meatballs, duck fat fries and the poutin, the lamb offering...not so. I have but overall an very great experience

Modern and classy stylish bistro-style restaurant with an offbeat rotating menu that is unique to the point you can tell the chef puts a great deal of thought into carving out each item. Small option, small bite focused menu that encourages family style dining and for everyone to try a little bit of everything the kitchen has to offer. The... More

Everything was unique and full of flavor. Our server was sweet and delightful, and we enjoyed sharing everything. The scallops were our favorite, but it was hard to choose because it was all so delicious. We enjoyed the big beer list as well as the quiet and casual atmosphere.
