Our daughters love Lazy Janes, so when visiting them over the weekend, we decided to have breakfast there. We are so glad we did! We loved the cute, "living room" type atmosphere! We loved the homey antique decorations. We each loved our breakfasts, but especially loved the breakfast potatoes, blueberry pancakes, and waffle with berries. If you see a line... More

We live almost two hours away and have to visit Madison somewhat frequently and we and the kids always choose Lazy Janes. It has a great atmosphere and superb food. The kids always enjoy their food although the portion sizes might be a bit on the generous side - I'd love it if a smaller version, for a little less... More

Had a great breakfast. Really enjoyed everything. Fresh and local and catered to my diet of no meat for October

I thought Lazy Janes offered great atmosphere. I regret visiting on a day when I wasn't very hungry. I ordered a pig in the blanket. I am used to a Dutch style pig in the blanket and what I received was a sausage link wrapped in a pancake. I wish I had ordered something else. But, the place was very... More

August 16, 2016 Love the little table with the ridiculously comfy chairs (upper level overlooking the stairs). What a great place for tea and a speedy eggwich. We were so happy, we didn't want to leave.

Lazy Jane's proved to be a most perfect way to wind down our weekend visit to Madison. We stopped on our way out of town for brunch on a Sunday, and though the wait was probably about 45-55 minutes from the time you began in the line until you sat down to dine, it was worth it. We had our... More

Excellent coffee. Wonderful scones. Lovely staff. I had the BLTP (with roasted peppers) on grilled sourdough rye. So filling, I ate only half and finished the rest for lunch. I would definitely go back next time I visit Madison

Recommended by our waitress at dinner the previous evening, we tried Lazy Jane's for brunch. Placed our order for veggie scramble and sat down with a yummy lemon scone and coffee. Food (& coffee) was delicious. Loved the funky local vibe

I had the tuna melt and my daughter had the morning bun. Both were excellent and worth stopping for. They even have a modest parking lot, although it's not built for trucks and SUVs. There are tiny shops along the street if you have time for some exploring. We definitely will save this place on our list for future visits.

You stand in line to oder and pick your order up when buzzed. Great homey menu and an impressive collections of scones.
