If you like baking you will appreciate this place. The deserts are wonderful and well presented. However, very very expensive.

Get the macarons! They're delicious and fairly inexpensive. They're a great gift- we brought some back for ourselves as well as family.

I always order Sucre on-line during the holidays, but personally stopping by the Magazine Street store is an absolute must on any visit to NOLA. The macarons are delightful, but the chocolates are my personal favorite. Just heavenly.

We ran across SUCRE close to our B and B in Garden District. Then also came across it in the French Quarter. I think I stopped in at least 3 times for the gelatto and also had to have one of their chocolate Eclaires. Love~

Chocolate like butter. The presentation is superb, You can assemble an assortment of your choice, from their high-art confections. They even hand-tie a ribbon on your box. Good value in return for the price.

You absolutely have to try their Confetti Cupcake Gelato. It will change your life. The macaroons are the best I have found since visiting Laude're in New York.
