What an amazing dinner and experience. Love the atmosphere with player piano, brick walls and tin ceiling. Carrie Ann was an amazing server and did a great job making recommendations. Have to be honest, it's the first time I have had a "bacon happy hour". Hard to go wrong there. Our steak was done perfect and the vegetables were crisp... More

This restaurant is in a reasonably quiet area just off Bourbon Street. Good menu that included offering smaller portions which were excellent and very good value. Has great atmosphere no good service.

Stumbled upon this restaurant while in new Orleans and were delighted we did. The staff were lovely and helped us order. We had the Lamb shanks which were the best I've ever had. The meat just fell off the bone. We also had the chicken dish which was also very good. They serve lovely hot fresh baked bread after you... More

This small restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating and is relatively small but well worth the stop. The menu has both a lite fare and full meals, so you have many options to choose from. Our party of 3 had crab cakes, shrimp, and scallops from the lite fare menu and were very happy with all 3 choices. Prices... More

The courtyard filled with plants and fun lights provide a peaceful ambiance which contrasts to the party atmosphere in the streets. We enjoyed soup, shrimp and a cheese platter appetizers as our meal, enjoying them with crackers and warm bread, then topping it off with key lime pie. Great staff too.

What a gem located right in the center of the French Quarter. Laid back elegance with delightful, friendly servers whom are eager to share their love of Orleans. Beautiful courtyard and although we didn't try the food this time we saw beautiful plates emerging from the kitchen-and heard raves from the diners. Oh, and Go Bucks!

We loved it! The crabcake was the best I've ever eaten. Our waitress, Carrie Ann, was terrific. Try it! You won't be disappointed.

I found this wonderful place on trip advisor and am so happy I did! We were lucky enough to have Molly as our waitress and she was AMAZING! Ask for her, you won't be disappointed! We actually visited for Bacon Happy Hour two nights in a row because we had to introduce our friends, who live in New Orleans to... More

With only one night in New Orleans I wanted to have dinner somewhere casual. It friendly, and after a long day of sightseeing, somewhere with great food. Orleans Grapevine Wine Bar and Bistro is just the place. Sunshine, the bar tender, was a delight and really knew her wines and the wine list. The food was amazing, the saffron muscles... More

We sat in the courtyard and it was very pleasant. Two people in our party had steak and two had the fish of the day. Both were very good and well prepared. All in all, a good dining experience.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
