Happened to get there when plenty of tables were open. Had a seat and were helped in just a few minutes by a very friendly server. Loved the coffee and beignets! Had just eaten dinner and the 3 of us could have shared the 3...More

The beignets have a lot of hype, but to me were just "good". The price is fantastic and they do provide you with glasses of water, so two of us spent a total of $3. The beignets are huge and caked with powdered sugar -...More

Fried dough as a begnet is still fried dough. Pretty good coffee, though. Wait for less busy time of day, so you can relax a bit. Indoor area less crowded AND has a/c, and is far more comfortable. Help your server and make your order...More

The best ones I've ever had were in the Paris casino in Las Vegas. The ones from Cafe du Monde were hard. The hot chocolate was better.

This is the traditional place to go for coffee and beignets and while good, not the best in New Orleans for either. It is reasonably priced and family friendly. It is not overly pricey and delivers a good seat in all the hustle and bustle....More

My boyfriend and I went here on an off time.. Tuesday around 7pm. There was no wait and there were some empty tables. We had a not-so-happy waitress that was just blah. I saw other wait staff that seemed happier and friendlier than our person...More

The place was packed and very slow service but completely understandable. In comparison this place had the best beignets!

There is no way you will not get powdered sugar on you when eating their famous beignets! If you don't do it yourself someone else will! I recommend going early so you can get a place to sit!

Sitting in the shade and breeze, enjoying Beignets, cafe au lait and a beautiful day. Oh yeah, also some saxophone entertainment. Always a neat place to visit in New Orleans.

around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the

I don't think you will have an issue Mon-Thurs. If you go on the weekend, I suggest going early in the morning (before 10am) or really late at night (after 10pm). Even more true if there are big events going on (Mardi Gras... More
