I believe there are a total of 4 Ruby Slipper restaurants in New Orleans and this is the original location. We have tried 3 of the 4 locations. It is situated in a residential area and is about two miles away from Bourbon St. We walked there from our French Quarter hotel and enjoyed the walk whilst looking at some... More

Find a place to park and give this place a chance. Holy moly... had a Bloody Mary whilst I was waiting and I would've just been satisfied with that...was fantastic. The food is spectacular. Wait staff are brilliant. Please try this place, you won't be disappointed.

We went to visit family in NOLA, and this is one of their favorite breakfast places. Being young and tech Davy, the kids had a no wait app that lets you "get in line" without being there, which is a great thing, because this popular spot always has a line. We got a variety of things, i love eggs Benedict,... More

As soon as we landed, we made a bee line to try the Gulf Fish St. Peter. My husband had been raving about it for weeks after he came back from New Orleans. Presentation was beautiful but I was a little disappointed. The Drum fish tasted a bit bland - even though it was smothered in the creole mustard hollandaise... More

My grandbaby, the Southern Belle, and I really needed a little less granola and a little more butter and bacon, so we slipped away for a couple of soul-warming breakfasts, down the street at the Ruby Slipper. The grits were the best -- just like mama used to make, with lots of butter and cooked slowly, so they were silky.... More

First and foremost, two thumbs up to Misty who was our waitress. Not sure who breathed all that sunshine in her heart but she is such a great server, good energy and very attentive to her guests, she was an absolute gem. Breakfast was wonderful, everything was delightful, tasty and the drinks, oh my, I had a buzz before 10... More

The food was spectacular. We did wait like 45 minutes but it was well worth it! The mimosas were strong and good. The mardi Gras pancakes were to die for! Totally worth the wait and can't wait to go again.

Four of us went there on 8/28/16 at about 9:00 am. We had to wait about 20 minutes but they have a smart phone app that lets you know how many parties are in front of you so we got some bloody marys and kept track. The bloody marys are good and the food is excellent. You can't go wrong... More
