Very good quality ingredient with smart and simple revisitations of authentic italian recipies. Good wine selection. Great atmosphere and extra ordinary good service.

This place is in the beautiful Waldorf hotel but with a street entrance. We were in khaki shorts and t shirts and went for lunch and did not feel out of place. We wanted a sampling of several things. We got full and never got...More

The food is incredible and the service is impeccable. Our waiter made an excellent recommendation for wine and the food was truly wonderful. We would have appreciated bread or something to start but their bread and butter was $6! The prices are a bit high...More

Super happy hour from 2:00-5:00 on pizza and drinks. Small but pleasant bar area with decent selection of bottled/can beer in addition to wine and liquor. Did not try the charcuterie plates but everything was freshly sliced at the neighboring station and appears to be...More

I recently dined at Domenica with a group of friends, and enjoyed sampling a little bit of everything. My favorites were their famous roasted cauliflower with whipped feta and olive oil and the bucatini, which was cooked to perfection. The burrata was also a big...More

Just nice. Sit at the bar and indulge with the excellent service the bartenders have to offer. The menu is a little limited but the food is excellent. No draft beers but the bottled beers are great.

We chose this place because it was open quite late in the evening, even around 11 pm. It was very quiet there. The menu offers a good range of standard Italian dishes and pizzas and reasonable prices. But the quality of the food was not...More

My daughter had this dining experience lined up for the second day. 6PM reservation on a Friday night. Service was excellent. Seems to be a New Orleans trait. Two pizzas from the menu were ordered along with the COOLinary offering. Seems August is the month...More

Visited this Saturday with friends. Have been dying to go since they opened, even though it's not only around the corner from where we live, but right across the street from one of our fave hangouts(!). I know, I know-- New Orleans: so many restaurants,...More

Really great food, but still cool and casual. Overwhelmed by the number of really great starters, pastas, and pizza and wish we could have eaten here repeatedly.

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

Domenica is a contemporary and inviting Italian restaurant that creates regional Italian dishes with southern and middle eastern influences. The cuisine combines Chef Alon Shaya's Israeli heritage and love of local ingredients with a menu that reflects his time spent cooking and living in the small towns of northern Italy.
