We were here three times on our recent trip, and I would have gone back again! This restaurant was very close to our hotel, and it rained much of the time we were in New Orleans. We sat at the bar each time we came, and we were always treated well. The drinks are spot on and the service is... More

The 3 of us ordered different meals, we shared a couple bites. They were all sooo delicious, but my meal was something wonderful. I have never enjoyed anything better.

A local recommended this location and she was spot on. The service was great and the food even better. We had the crawfish con queso, corn and crab chowder, and shrimp and grits. Every dish was incredible!

The food at this restaurant was mediocre at best. Considering it advertises seafood in the name, one would expect the seafood to be great. However, the shrimp po-boy I ordered was average. What ruined my visit was the service. I have never written a review on any restaurant but felt the need to warn future customers about my experience here.... More

Stopped in for a quick lunch on Bourbon Street. We saw the add in one of the visitors books and decided to give it a try and we were glad we did. I got the shrimp po boy which had plenty of good sized shrimp. The bun was hard on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside with pickles,... More

We spent a few days in New Orleans over the Halloween period. What a special experience that was. We decided to eat on Bourbon St on Halloween night so we could watch the madness outside while dining. We picked Pier 424 and boy were we happy that we did. From the friendly staff to the delicious food, it was just... More

We ate dinner here on our last night in New Orleans. This restaurant is located in the heart of Bourbon Street. We ordered a couple of appetizers; the Corn and Crab Soup, the Fried Alligator, and the Fried Calamari. All were delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. The staff was efficient and friendly. A nice place to take in the activities... More

I'm not a huge fan of seafood, but when in the Big Easy, you eat seafood! We stopped in on a Thursday night and were seated immediately. I had a combo of crawfish, shrimp and crab over linguine and my wife the BBQ shrimp and grits. We both licked our plates! I was still tasting the wonderful flavors hours later... More

great drinks (in a travel friendly cup), and great Louisiana seafood specialties. I tried the pecan fish and loved it. It it easy to find, right on Bourbon Street. We got a table overlooking the street. Would eat there again.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
