First of all, the restaurant is small. so reservations are a must and the atmosphere was loud. I had the doublecut pork chop, and my wife had the pan seared drum, which was excellent. The pork chop, however, was both overcooked and tough, so I...More

A few times a year I head down to New Orleans to enjoy new restaurants and old favourites. Boucherie was an old favourite that I had not visited yet at the new location. The verdict... Same good food, but bad service. You will love the...More

First off, a quiet and unassuming locale in Carrolton (Garden District), that seat perhaps 50 or so. A recommendation from the sales woman foodie in The Roosevelt Hotel, that steered us so right~ and our last dinner in New Orleans. Amazing oysters with mignonette, a...More

Boucherie moved to a new location just before we dined there. The new space was supposed to be larger, which would lead to better service and a slightly more quiet experience. Our service was fine...the server was nice, attentive, and helped a great deal with...More

Went here solo when in NOLA for business, and was looking for more of a local dining spot. It's located near Tulane Univ.., about a 15$ cab ride from the City Centre. They were completely packed at 8:00 on a Thursday night, but in the...More

My son booked this restaurant well in advance since he had read so many good things about it. I can state unequivocally that this restaurant far surpassed any of the glowing reviews he had read. As an appetizer, we had the collard greens with grit...More

Eight of us had a reservation at this highly recommended restaurant. We were called to make sure we were coming. We arrived on time (8:00) and this very small restaurant was so loud we couldn't talk to each other. We were told the table was...More

We had to wait...mainly because one table took their time enjoying each other's company after they were done...but the staff made it up to us...oh, and the bartenders are very talented.

We have been to the Boucherie before and truly enjoyed it in the old location. The new place is nice, but sterile and very loud. I assume they are still working on that. Unfortunately, service was beyond incompetent. Forgotten orders, missed ingredients (i.e., the pescaterian...More

The food is extraordinary - one of the best meals I've ever had. I had the onion soup and osso bucco and for dessert decadent crispy creme bread pudding. Everyone loved their meal. Don't miss this restaurant !

Uptown / Carrollton
Very much their own self sufficient unit within the
greater metro area, Uptown and Carrollton tone down
