This cajun style cuisine is excellent, though it can be eccentric. Not completely friendly for non-foodies, but if you're adventurous and willing to enjoy some delicious NOLA cuisine, definitely check it out. The drinks are amazing and the food is very elegant. The staff is...More

From the start, this was good. Our waiter was sharp and recommended a good beer for my husband. We had poboys and the fillings were really flavoursome. Efficient, easy lunch.

Real good food. The brisket is awesome!!!!! Be prepared to wait for your food to be made fresh. The Krispy Kreme bread pudding is excellent.

We had a very good meal this weekend. Service was a bit spotty, only in that they were busy and the server would disappear for stretches. Best dishes: Boudin Balls (though the garlic aioli was weirdly flavorless), Collard Greens with Grits Fries (loved this dish!!)...More

First I strongly suggest making reservations. We made an 8pm reservation, got there 20 minutes early and they seated us right away. We noticed the restaurant filled up very fast. From the small plates through the entrees to the dessert, it was all AMAZING! As...More

This was the best lunch I had in NOLA. The restaurant is nice and small and our waiter was really helpful. The Bloody Mary was spicy and I'm still not sure if I like the BBQ sauce in it. The shrimp and boudin balls to...More

Based on a foodie friend's recommendation, we made an early reservation. Boucherie is a great stop before hitting fun local bars in the area (Maple Leaf, Rock n Bowl). We were seated right away and our waiter introduced himself by saying "we've got great food...More

We waited over an hour to be seated, annoyingly seeing others seated before us. The service was really bad. The food is good, but the whole experience was ruined by the staff. Didn't see anyone that looked like a manager all night. Very badly run....More

While we left Commanders Palace less than thrilled, Boucherie made up for that experience. Food was amazing, service was great and the prices were reasonable. Its a bit out of the way, on the other side of Tulane, but take the street car and walk...More

Came here with family, party of 8. Interesting menu, something for everyone without overwhelming number of choices. The scallops were outstanding, ribs were judged ok. Small but excellent selection of draft beers, extensive and reasonable wine list. Reservations recommended, a busy place on a Tuesday...More

Yes, we managed to walk in about 6:30 on a Friday, but the rest of the place filled in quickly and we were asked if we had a reservation upon entering. I would recommend it if it's a place you want to check out without a... More
