My husband and I went out for a drink and wanted to bring back some pizza for our kids who were back at the hotel. Waited almost an hour for a half cheese half pepperoni pizza. I usually wait around twenty minutes for a pie. And worst part was the server didn't even mention it would take that long as... More

Pizza and wings were good. However we felt sorry for the server as she was the only one there except for the cooks. Greet, find table, take order, serve attend bar and answer phones. We were afraid she will have to bake pizza as well.

To begin, my expectations were not set very high. I chose to have a garlic shrimp pizza to go. The service was pretty low key and my pie arrived fairly fast, which it should have as the restaurant was almost empty. It was okay and still hot when I enjoyed it, but really didn't rock my world. I still find... More

First of all, major props for the two people working on Mardi Gras day. My friends and I first went to Domenica's, which is a John Besh restaurant. There was a two hour wait, and we remembered a pizza sign we passed on the way. We backtracked, and found Big Pie Pizza. For Mardi Gras day, it was busy, but... More

Across the street from our hotel. Heard it was good and figured it would be OK for a late night dinner. Place was trashed (and not busy to boot). Waited 15 min to get order in. Waiting 45 min for food. Ended up leaving. Not recommended.

We were staying at a hotel near by and decided to give this place a try. Prices are reasonable. We had a tasty XL meat lovers pizza. This was big enough for 2 adults and 2 teenage boys. This is a typical bar type atmosphere with some side booths. The one thing that could use some major attention in this... More

Found this place near our hotel. Found website and menu. Called for 8.99 large pizza special. Was told that was only for lunch. Dinner price 2x lunch price. Pizza small, few pepperonis, and less than adequate. Avoid this place.

We were staying next door and were just looking for an open place. This looks like any neighborhood bar. I found the people there to be very friendly and the pizza was excellent. I highly recommend it. Not really a family place, but I felt very comfortable.

So I came on TripAdvisor for pizza suggestions nearby. My fiancé was looking for their online menu. Reviews were hit and miss, but we decided to try them. We never choose a pizza size from the site only looked at what toppings they had. We decided to call them and order, but they said according to our phone number we'd... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
