The Boom Boom Shrimp were very enjoyable, and the serving size was generous. Definitely recommend them. The Muffuletta was huge - order a half sandwich and it will still be enough food for two. The Home Run Grilled Chicken Sandwich was a little over cooked, but fine. Nice outside dining at the Outlet Mall. Service was fair. Biggest complaint was... More

The staff is super friendly. You have the option of sitting inside or on the patio. The patio over looks the Mississippi river and the dock for the paddle boat ferry's

We sat there for over 20 minutes with no service. The terrible thing about it is, I made eye contact with all the servers. NEVER AGAIN.

Service was awful for no one at place. Food was OK and no sides with sandwiches or burgers. Very commercial. Stay local and don't waste your time. Servers are not good. Took an hour to eat with 4 tables and checked myself out at bar. DO NOT GO HERE. Johnnys Po Boys or Mothers is a much better alternative.

We stopped here for lunch after our amazing historic river cruise on the Creole Queen. The food was good albeit a very basic menu. Several drink options. The wait staff was also very mediocre.

Hi travel family, dropped by here (after getting it on Groupon). I had chichen wings and my wife had nachos, each where very good. This place was jumpin. There were television sets all around the bar area, people watching the "March Maddness". Will back here for sure.

We love to sit by the river, watch the boats and feel the cool breezes in the evening while in NOLA. Was very excited to see this sports bar within "stepping" distance of our Hilton Riverside hotel and the water. Unfortunately they close at 8pm! ☹️ We had to move up our dinner time in order to eat before they... More

On our way to the RiverWalk we decided to eat here-outside with a view of the river, ferry's & the other tourists. Well, if you have a thing about birds, I strongly suggest going inside. The birds here are not scared of you. If you have a huge party, they do not do separate checks. Also they automatically add 20%... More

The food tasted pretty good, but the service was very slow and inefficient. , Although the restaurant was not crowded, we waited too long for our drinks, . We waited way too long for our food. And when I gave the waiter my credit card , I asked for 3-4 toothpicks, which were never delivered. I had to go to... More

Not a bad place to be if visiting New Orleans. Waitstaff were attentive. Bar food was great. My wife and I had wings (seasoned very well) Cajun Fries (seasoned well) 3 different kinds of local beer (mainly Abita). And the view ( if sitting outside) is great, (think watching the Mississippi river flowing by.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
