Being a native of NOLA, I'm often asked for suggestions on where to eat when people are visiting. My go-to breakfast is a gem known for their amazing 'Red Gravy'. Don't miss this, whatever else you do! Patrick will entertain you as he serves up...More

My friends and I went here for brunch on a business trip to New Orleans. Our waiter (who we affectionately called Peaches) was funny and entertaining. We ordered mimosas, which came with small handmade carafes of 3 juice choices and a bottle of champagne. I...More

I'm not aware of any issues with timing from the kitchen. We don't have microwaves or heat lamps, so it's our policy to send food directly from the grill to the table, preventing anything from being cold. Did you mention anything to your server? I...More

Had a great breakfast with my wife. I had "Sicilian Egg Pie" (I think that's what it's called). It was awesome. So different and so perfect for what I wanted. Think of a couple soft-poached eggs backed inside an open faced puff pastry and covered...More

A great meatball, melt in your mouth pancakes, the best breakfast potatoes ever! A small place, but not as long a line as other hot breakfast places in downtown New Orleans...and way better food! Worth the wait! And a very friendly, witty, owner/chef!More

Thank you so much for coming in! Lou makes every single meatball by hand, just 35 at a time! He's literally making them all day long! Funny thing is, it's the chicken parm sandwich that's named after him, not the meatball sandwich! I will be...More

Skipped ahead in line waiting for a table twice! Then when we stepped inside due to the cold weather the owner was rude and condescending. Food was decent but not worth the attitude we will not be back.More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other

away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the

Description
Bright and cheereful spot at the edge of the CBD, just across from the French Quarter. Red Gravy is a dedicated Farm to Table restaurant, sourcing most of our ingredients from local farmers, fishers and bakers. Currently listed as the #1 Brunch spot in New Orleans by OpenTable! Our brunch menu is comprised of traditional breakfast items, traditional Italian specialties like our handmade pasta and famous homemade meatballs, typical northern New Jersey/New York dishes and local, New Orleans favorites. Full service bar, cappuccino and espresso available. Come and eat, I always make too much!
