Yes, my family from Colorado finally enjoyed a meal. this was great! The menu was good and the prices were reasonable.......But don't think you have all day. They close early and they stay packed.

If you pop into this area and see a line out the door...WAIT! It is well worth it. We had excellent food there. Their Eggs Benedict was mouth watering goodness and it is not even a dish I typically care for. Their Bloody Mary's are...More

Waiting lines of almost 2 hours. Luckily I was there solo so could go to the bar after 10 minutes. Not sure why you would wait. Because of the high interior and the many people, it sounds like a loud chicken den. The food was...More

The Ruby Slipper cafe is a really nice place. Old fashioned southern style breakfast. French toast, omelettes, grits, fried green tomatoes, very good coffee. Their specialty: eggs Benedictine in many varieties - don't miss them!!! I had one with pulled pork and another one with...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other

touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
