Yes, my family from Colorado finally enjoyed a meal. this was great! The menu was good and the prices were reasonable.......But don't think you have all day. They close early and they stay packed.

If you pop into this area and see a line out the door...WAIT! It is well worth it. We had excellent food there. Their Eggs Benedict was mouth watering goodness and it is not even a dish I typically care for. Their Bloody Mary's are...More

We had a short wait for two to sit at the bar at noon on a Monday. The young lady who took our order was really nice and told us it was really slow, usually they have lines around the corner. I had a modified...More

Waiting lines of almost 2 hours. Luckily I was there solo so could go to the bar after 10 minutes. Not sure why you would wait. Because of the high interior and the many people, it sounds like a loud chicken den. The food was...More

It is a good value for what it costs - the salmon benedict could have fed 2 people - there was so much on the plate. The omelets and pancakes were of decent size as well with the accompanying potatoes or grits or fruit and...More

The Ruby Slipper cafe is a really nice place. Old fashioned southern style breakfast. French toast, omelettes, grits, fried green tomatoes, very good coffee. Their specialty: eggs Benedictine in many varieties - don't miss them!!! I had one with pulled pork and another one with...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title

little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

The restaurant itself does not have parking, however depending on what day of the week you are there you should be able to find parking on one of the street meters. There are several hotels and Harrah's Casino all a couple... More
